We’ve been back at the checkouts this week with The Immanuel Project! Members of our amazing Project Team - Danni, Darcy, Ellie and Beth – were helping out at a local Tesco to raise awareness and donations for the great work being done by the Immanuel Project to support Bradford's vulnerable community. As one of our charity partners, it’s been an honour to support them not only with donations and fun events like our Dragon Boat racing, but with hands-on time from dedicated members of our team working closely with their tireless volunteers. Industry contributes in various ways to charities. Core business-related donations are either cash or in-kind contributions that are aligned to some corporate strategic plans or goals. On the other hand, unrelated cash contributions are generally aligned by a decision made by the mid management level. These are usually one-offs and aim to support a 'cause' within a specific timeframe. Since COVID, senior volunteers have significantly decreased. Besides financial support, Gastel Peterson & Co. strongly advocates for the implementation of corporate and high school volunteering to fill the gaps in the charity and in the non for profit sector.
