As we approach the upcoming election, the pervasive influence of AI in our election raises critical concerns. We have already seen how AI is being used to impersonate President Joe Biden to discourage residents from voting in primaries. The use of AI poses a serious threat, as there are currently no safeguards in place to prevent false information from being disseminated. That’s why we’re urging lawmakers to proactively safeguard our #CivilRights online, our Online Civil Rights Act provides a framework to address privacy, discrimination, and racial bias risks posed by AI. Now, more than ever, Congress must prioritize justice- and equity-centered solutions for emerging technologies. Learn about the Online Civil Rights Act. https://lnkd.in/e6kiF6z3
