We have worked with small businesses that had just one or two employees. Once, we doubled the staff for a small business by hiring them their second employee! **Contractors care ** Last week, during my routine "contractors care" catch-up, I had a conversation with a hiring manager at a café. One of my contractors passed by, offering a warm hello with his usual magnetic smile. This ordinary interaction left the hiring manager pleasantly surprised, repeating multiple times, "Wow, you really maintain a strong relationship with your contractors!" Honestly, the reaction left me slightly perplexed. For me, it's normal. These people work with us, utilising our services. It's my duty to know them, build a solid working relationship, and go the extra mile. No excuses, regardless of how many contractors are in my book, they'll always be my people, and I will consistently make the effort to know them. I strongly believe that understanding the unique skills, strengths, values, and motivations of your contractors is essential for fostering a thriving work environment. It's not just about filling positions and making money; it's about creating a synergy that drives success.
