Everything comes to an end at some point. Today was the last day of work in andagon It has been an amazing time where I learned a lot, met talented people, and was part of a successful IT company in Germany. I'm grateful to my colleagues for the pleasant teamwork, and with a smile on my face, I continue my career path in another growing company. A new chapter in my book begins.🎉🎊

I'm one month into my adventure with the soon-to-be Veralto. And I couldn't be more energized. A few observations: -Never underestimate the power of purpose as a motivator for your workforce. The enthusiasm that underpins Safeguarding the World's Most Vital Resources flows through this organization. -Being surrounded by diverse talent -- each one at the top of their field and the top of their game -- is a humbling experience. Especially this executive team. -The operational excellence that comes from continually asking "how can we do this better?" is an important driver of success. -I have had my best learning moments from moments of genuine curiosity. Some of my best immersion conversations stemmed from asking questions like: "It sounds like there is a story behind why you do things that way. Tell me more?" Lots left to do as we prepare to launch Veralto. And even more to do as we become an independent public company. But as I've been reminded, its a marathon, not a sprint. Even if I'm sprinting to the end of September for now.

I recently traded in the 🚀 for a 🛶 and spent an unforgettable week canoeing over 60 miles through the Boundary Waters between the US and Canada with my son, Nabeel Ishoof and his Scout Troop. ➡️ 5 Takeaways from the canoe expedition: 1. 🛶 Focus on your stroke: Just like in life, progress is made one step at a time. Each stroke moves you forward. Obsessing on how far you need to go in life, doesn’t help you get there any faster — one stroke at a time. 2. 🗺️ Memorize your map, but stay adaptable: While having a plan is essential, adaptability to Mother Nature’s whims ensures survival and success. 3. 💪🏾Value every team member: In a canoe, as in any team, each person brings unique strengths. The big and strong add weight; the light and flexible bring speed. 4.🔊 Communicate, communicate, communicate: Clear and consistent communication prevents going in circles. This is true both on the water and in our professional lives. 5.🌄 Enjoy the journey, not just the destination: The beauty of the journey often surpasses the end goal. Savor each moment. There were moments of sheer exhaustion, but also moments of profound joy and connection. Watching Nabs and his crew navigate challenges, support each other, and celebrate their achievements was incredibly inspiring. 🌟
