Ford Fund is celebrating #GivingTuesday to kick off the holiday season with the spirit of giving back. Today, we recognize our nonprofit partners and encourage you to support grassroots efforts in your communities. Learn more about the transformative work Ford Fund’s partner organizations do and join us in supporting their efforts combatting food insecurity, healthcare access, and disaster relief this season. Team Rubicon – a veteran-led humanitarian organization, built to serve global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises. Vision to Learn – a nonprofit organization that provides free mobile optometry services to children in low-income communities. Gleaners Community Food Bank – a Detroit-based food bank that provides food to nearly 400 partner soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, schools and other agencies. Feeding America – a nonprofit organization working to end hunger in the U.S. through a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks that feed more than 46 million people. Forgotten Harvest – non-profit food rescue organization that collects food that would otherwise go to waste and delivers it free of charge to organizations feeding the hungry in Metro Detroit.
