Today, the conversation isn’t led by you saying, “Let me tell you about our firm.” It’s led by prospects saying, “Hey, I’ve been following your content, and now I want to meet.”

Award-Winning Operations & Growth Strategist for Energy, Finance, Government, Insurance, & Legal @ The Florence Rose Group
This Spring: more time OUT—with clients & prospects, having fun—and less time IN—behind a desk, ft. analysis paralysis. Sharing personal things like this on LinkedIn is so weird for me, but I hear it's the thing to do. So here we are!! As a viewer, if you like any of it (or hate any of it) please let me know!! I'll take any tangible feedback I can get 😊. Also shoutout to my best model pup, Fynnie! She is, in fact, the happiest girl around town. ___ What are your Spring Season ins and outs? #digitalmarketingbusiness #communicationsagency #publicrelationsagency #marketingmanager #marketingstrategyconsultant

I got a cold e-mail today that greeted me with, "Hey." I get it. Business is more casual and personable these days. However, there is a fine line between being informal and being unprofessional. Be careful. We also have to remember, that the business world is comprised of a few generations. "Hey" may or may not be okay with younger people. It is probably not okay with older people. Likewise, "Dear Sir/Ms." may be okay with older people, but most likely not with younger people. If you don't know the demographic of your audience, then split the difference with your informality/formality. #businesscommunications #coldemail #colddm

Should you give your LinkedIn profile a 5-star rating? That's where recommendations come in. Far from dust collectors, these testimonials are affirmations; they tell the digital universe 'This pro means business'. They're like street cred for your skills, a leg-up in the job market, and nods from those who've seen you in action. So, got your dream recommendation? Post it here or shout out to the colleague who brightened up your profile with theirs. Start a chain of applause for our professional prowess. #LinkedInrecos #testimonialtriumph #careercredibility #skillsspectacle

An interesting link Mirko Torrez Contreras shared last week. Do you think that there are un-written rules of behavior we should abide by before and when we post on LinkedIn ? https://lnkd.in/emmV9iUH #SocialMedia #BusinessSocialMedia #WorkLifeBalance #ThinkBeforeYouPost
It's not just you. LinkedIn has gotten really weird.

Does the idea of being interviewed on camera make you start to sweat? How about something with lower stakes like being on camera for social media? If you answered yes to either question, you're certainly not alone. We have good news and bad news. First the bad news. Your nerves may never completely go away. As for the good news, there are ways to overcome it. Start by speaking from a place a passion. Here's what happens: 1. Your negative self talk is quieted. 2. You transcend the barrier of a screen or stage to meet audiences/ ideal clients right where they are. 3. You find your "tribe." We see it time and time again with our clients. I help people tell more memorable stories about themselves, their work and each other | 3x Emmy Award winner | Journalist
My FAVORITE part of media training/ visibility coaching is the moment after I ask my client to explain their "why." Their face lights up and they tap into a more authentic space that makes their message unforgettable! I help them use that passion as the foundation of their storytelling. https://lnkd.in/ejWxMKKs

Helping start-up cybersecurity orgs make more $$$ with high-conversion email strategies | $760k driven for clients | DM me „strategy“ to learn more
22 days ago I met the other half of my brain - Stéphanie Lauer. Most of you know her as THE ghostwriter for exited founders on Linkedin. She’s built an amazing solo business over the past 1.5 years. And we are the same person. Our chai chats winded in many different directions, but this one conversion stood out the most: “I felt like THAT bitch.” In your personal life it's a euphoric feeling - But in business? It’s how you close your biggest deals. Have your target audience knocking at your door to work with you. And have your competitors looking at you like THAT bitch. So how exactly do you become That Bitch in your industry? Tune into my newsletter at 8 pm PST to find out👇 https://lnkd.in/gmYbH2km
