April 19 last year marked New Zealand’s Earth Overshoot Day: the day we began to use more from nature than our planet can renew in a year. This contrasts with the ‘clean and green’ New Zealand we’ve marketed for decades. This week, I look at just how sustainable Aotearoa New Zealand is.
