Great to see education being given the prominence it deserves in yesterday’s King’s Speech. But it is vital that EAL pupils do not get forgotten.
Multilingual classrooms are now the norm, with over one in five pupils speaking #EAL in England.
But a policy vacuum, alongside the gradual disappearance of expertise and services from the system, has left learners unsupported and teachers unprepared.

3wReally? How come you don't recrute from abroad then? I just always hear how badly England needs teachers, but I have been looking for a post in Kent for four years now! And although I am highly qualified and have more than 20 years of experience in teaching Internationally, I can't get a job there!
