I am using this app and have already donate thousands of meals. do you know ShareTheMeal? it is a simple yet powerful application that allows us to make a difference in the lives of people suffering from hunger around the world. With just a few taps on our smartphone screens, we can donate food to those in need, contributing to the fight against hunger and malnutrition. As we move forward with our daily lives and careers, we cannot forget that there are millions of people in the world struggling to meet the most basic need: food. With just a few cents a day, we can provide meals to children and families who would otherwise lack sufficient food. It's a simple gesture with a tremendous impact. I see it as a sharing habit, every time you have a nice meal, you do not take it for granted and with one tap you can donate one or more meals to someone else, with few cents. Instead of big donations that not everybody can do, this is a small and impactful habit for everyone to make the difference. Gutta cavat lapidem.

Today, we honor the legacy of MLK. We honor the struggles of the "downtrodden" (Arendt), of the "wretched of the earth" (Fanon), of the "subalterns" (Spivak), of the "colonized" (Bennabi), of the "other" (Husserl), and of the "oppressed" (everyone else). While as freelancers we do not (or no longer) enjoy a break on this day, we can still take a moment to reflect on the meaning of the various terms used to describe people and communities who struggle for justice, and open our eyes, look around us and ask: Are these terms only applicable to the study of history and philosophy? Or are these real, current, living terms that describe realities, we, or other humans, are experiencing right now? On this day, we, as freelancers, as human beings, can take a moment, if not a whole day, to reflect and decide whether we will stand to injustice and speak up against it, or at least acknowledge it, or will we decide to look away in order to validate our future statements when we will cite the "we did not know" state-of-denial clause? #Injustice_anywhere_is_threat_to_justice_everywhere #MLK
On #MLKDay we honor the powerful words, lasting vision, and immeasurable impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Leadership that chooses not to stand in solidarity with everyone to represent Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy and what he fought for is missing a profound opportunity to uphold justice, equality, and unity. Dr. King's legacy is rooted in the tireless pursuit of civil rights, social justice, and the dream of a more equitable society for all. By choosing not to stand in solidarity, leadership risks perpetuating the very injustices that Dr. King dedicated his life to eradicating. It is crucial for leaders to understand that embracing diversity, advocating for the marginalized, and working towards equality are not only moral imperatives but also essential for a thriving, inclusive society. As a leader, it's important to remember Dr. King's words: "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." By standing in solidarity with all people, regardless of race, creed, or background, leaders can honor Dr. King's legacy and contribute to a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. True leadership is about fostering understanding, empathy, and unity, and it's in this spirit that we can truly embody the principles for which Dr. King stood.
On this day, we remember and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a leader in the civil rights movement who fought for unity and racial justice. “With this powerful gospel we shall boldly challenge the status quo.” - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
