Join us in highlighting Earth Day with distinctive action and education 🌏👊🏽 Throughout April, Wavemaker is taking part in WPP's expert masterclasses, thought-provoking panel events, film screenings, climate quizzes, enjoying plant-based food, and opportunities to volunteer in the local community. There will be 100 activations as we come together to make a positive impact in our environment and the communities in which we operate. The theme of this year's Earth Day on 22nd April is Planet vs Plastics, as we produce 380 million tonnes of plastic every year—while only 9% of plastic waste actually gets recycled, which is not enough - we need to address the problem before it occurs.
