🌿 What Makes a Home Green? - The Edge Singapore In today's world, being "green" encompasses sustainability, environmental stewardship, and prioritizing the long-term well-being of our planet. Our approach includes holistic wellness for both residents and staff, site preservation, community engagement, and ensuring long-term client success. Chiara Calufetti-Lim, Principal, Architecture, emphasizes the delicate balance between environmental resilience, social responsibility, and economic viability to achieve harmony between humans and nature. One of our recent projects, Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts is a testament to this philosophy. Inspired by the Balinese concept of Tri Hita Karana, we transformed a 72-villa resort by preserving existing structures, thereby reducing costs and minimizing waste while enhancing the property economically and environmentally. Paolo De Simone, Creative Director, Wimberly Interiors, highlights our approach to residential design, driven by our hospitality ethos. We prioritize renovations and repurposing materials to increase resilience. Our designs integrate natural elements, maximizing daylight, natural ventilation, and biophilic principles to foster well-being and connect dwellers with nature. #Sustainability #GreenDesign #BiophilicDesign #Architecture #InteriorDesign #ResidentialDesign #InteriorDesign #SustainableLiving #WellnessDesign
