There are four main types of #WaterRisk #data you should measure to ensure comprehensive and effective water risk management and reporting: 🌏 #Global Water Risk Data: Measures risks such as water scarcity, quality, flooding, infrastructure, reputational, and regulatory risk. It’s useful for assessing risks on a macro scale and benchmarking your facilities against global averages. Example: NASA’s GRACE satellite data. 📍 #Local Water Risk Data: Crucial for understanding site-specific challenges. Examples include local hydrological datasets, water quality reports, and data from governments and local universities. 🏭 Site #Vulnerability Assessment Data: Determines a facility’s susceptibility to water risks. Some facilities may have robust water management plans, while others may not. 📊 Water #Accounting Data: Includes water consumption, discharges, costs, and associated revenue.
