We are celebrating Water Positive Day💦 Water is one of the most precious resources on our planet, and today we are joining Water Positive to highlight their focus on working towards a world where more water is returned to the environment than used by industries. At WASE we are at the forefront of making this change. Our unique waste-to-energy technology not only allows companies to generate power from their wastewater, but it also ensures the water is clean enough to put back into the environment. Let’s continue to make a water positive world for the future. #WaterPositiveDay #wastewater #sustainability #bethechange

Every year on March 22nd, the world comes together to celebrate World Water Day, advocating for the sustainable management of water resources. Around 2.2 billion people worldwide lack access to safely managed drinking water services, and about 4.2 billion people – over half the world's population – experience severe water scarcity for at least one month a year. This is the problem we are trying to mitigate with our AKVAZEN Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD). AKVAZEN is a water treatment technology designed to minimize water waste and pollution by recycling and reusing water within industrial processes. AKVAZEN recovers nearly all water used in industrial processes, hence the name "Zero Liquid Discharge." By implementing this system, industries can minimize their reliance on freshwater sources, thus alleviating pressure on already stressed water supplies. This conservation of water resources is vital in regions facing severe water scarcity issues, helping to ensure a sustainable water future for communities and ecosystems. As we commemorate World Water Day and reflect on the importance of safeguarding this precious resource, innovations like AKVAZEN ZLD serve as beacons of hope, demonstrating that with ingenuity and commitment, we can overcome even the most daunting water challenges. #WaterIndustry #WaterTech #WaterManagement #WaterTreatment #Wastewater #WaterResources #WaterSustainability #WaterInnovation #WaterInfrastructure #CleanWaterTech #WaterPurification #WaterSupply #WaterUtilities #SmartWater #WaterConservation #WaterEfficiency #Desalination #StormwaterManagement #WaterQuality #WaterInfrastructure #WaterSolutions #WorldWaterDay #WaterIsLife #SaveWater #CleanWater #WaterForAll #EveryDropCounts #WaterConservation #SustainableWater #WaterCrisis #ZeroLiquidDischarge #WaterQuality #WaterSecurity #BluePlanet #FreshWater #HydrationNation #WaterAwareness #WWD2024 #ProtectOurWater #DrinkTap #RethinkWater

On World 💧 Water Day, let's dive into the importance of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) in preserving our precious water resources. 💧 ZLD is a sustainable water treatment process that eliminates liquid waste by recovering and reusing all water, leaving zero discharge at the end of the treatment cycle. This innovative technology not only conserves water but also helps in reducing pollution and protecting the environment. Wastewater treatment plays a crucial role in ensuring that water can be safely returned to nature without harming the environment. By removing pollutants and contaminants from wastewater, treatment plants help protect aquatic ecosystems and safeguard our water sources for future generations. Let's all do our part by supporting initiatives that promote sustainable wastewater management and by being mindful of the impact our daily activities can have on water quality. Together, we can make a difference and ensure a cleaner, healthier world for all! #RajProcess #WorldWaterDay #ZeroLiquidDischarge #SaveWater #SustainableFuture

Making the Most out of Every Drop Country by Country, State by State, district by district, importance of water management is key!! Water Positive means returning more water than usage back to the resources Water Neutral means returning the same amount of water back to the resources Water Negative means returning less water than usage back to the resources The goal of being water positive is to leave a positive impact on water ecosystems and ensure that more water is conserved and restored than used As we do focus on net-zero, water positive narrows our goals to return more water into resources than withdrawn !!! So as to become Water Positive, initiatives like checking our water use and impact, proper treatment of waste water, eliminating/reducing water use, developing resources for collecting water etc. can be put in place !!! Together, we can march towards a better world by being Water Positive !!! #Sustainability #Environment #Water #Netzero

Water scarcity is a pressing global issue, and it is crucial that we take action to conserve this precious resource. By adopting ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) systems with MEE (Multi-Effect Evaporator) and MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) technologies, industries can make a substantial impact in reducing their water consumption and minimising their environmental footprint. Thermax’s MEE and MVR enable 92- 98% recovery of high-quality water, reducing the burden on freshwater resources. If you are looking for ways to reduce your water footprint, connect with us and join our #MissionH2O, a sustainability initiative by Thermax aimed at water conservation. #worldwaterday #sustainability #waterconservation #reducereuserecycle #water

Did you know that roughly half of the world’s population is experiencing severe water scarcity for at least part of the year (IPCC, 2022)? When water is scarce or polluted, or when people struggle for access, tensions can rise and the first step to curb this is to ensure there is enough water for all. In line with this year’s theme #WaterForPeace on this #WorldWaterDay, along with taking steps to cooperate on the effective use of water, let us also take necessary measures to effectively recycle and reuse it with Water Technology partners like MWTS. Through this, we could strike a balance with everyone’s water needs and help stabilise the world. #waterday #SaveWater #RecycleWater #Sustainable #WaterTech #WaterTechnology #MWTS

On this #WorldEnvironmentDay, let’s reflect on the impact of #waste on our planet, and the HUGE economic, societal and environmental benefits of getting #wastemanagement under control. 🤯 Municipal solid waste generation is predicted to grow from 2.1 billion tonnes in 2023 to 3.8 billion tonnes by 2050. 💰Without urgent action on waste management, by 2050 the cost of poor waste management will be $640.3 billion. 🌍 The impact that poor waste management has on our planet is staggering. It is causing significant air pollution: contributing 5% of global greenhouse gas emissions, and contaminating our water and soil. 🙏 But there are many reasons to be optimistic. At CLOCC we are building systems-level change with local communities. 👀 CLOCC’s vision is to achieve healthy societies and a clean environment - through sustainable communities, #greenjobs, and business opportunities in local #circular economies. 🔗 Follow CLOCC and keep up with our journey towards sustainable waste management a #circulareconomy. More exciting news on the development of our projects coming up this week!

"It's time to wake the sleeping giant." That's how Paul Jeffrey from Cranfield University referred to the potential of water reuse in Europe. A #throwbackthursday to 2017 and an interview with Paul following the launch of Water Reuse Europe - a new organisation designed to be a central point of reference for new developments. Recycling and reusing wastewater for agricultural, industrial and municipal purposes has always held so much potential to augment and create more resilient water supplies.
