On the screen, I have a list of every single package of every downloaded onto this machine using Homebrew. This is what we call a brew file. So my personal brew file includes packages like Python, Astro, Docker, Rust, Vim, Oh my Posh, and other tools that enhance my developer productivity. Now, the philosophy behind the product that we're launching today is that the identity of developer is buried in their profile. So taking that philosophy, how did we apply that to building profiles.com? Well, the first thing that we wanted. Is for people to feel proud and to want to share their profile. So we took a very plain boring black and white dot TXT file that you brew file usually comes in and turned it into a very cool dark mode web page. And when you click on a package, it actually brings you to the home page of that package so that you can read more about it if you don't know what it is. Second is that we'll tell you what type of developer you are based off your profile. So this is my personal brew file. Here are all of my packages and let's click generate dev personality. And here it is. It gives me a pie chart breaking down what percentage of my packages are front end, back end, DevOps, etc. And it gives me a personality type as well as who I most am likely to get along with. Third, we have a leaderboard which rings every single tool that's been uploaded based on how many people had it in their brew file. I think this is a great way to see what tools are popular as well as discover any tools that are trending. The more people that use this website, the more interesting that this leaderboard is going to get and. Finally, we gave you a way to stalk other people's brew files by adding a very seamless search functionality where you can search by the package that you want to look up by the username of a developer, and you can even filter by featured developers which we label manually in our database. Now a few things to note before I wrap up. One, this project is 100% open source, so I will include the links to the GitHub repo somewhere in this posting. You can run NPX share brew files in your command line, which is going to generate and upload your brew file to the website and to once you've done that, please go ahead and generate your developer personality and screenshot it to share it on social media.
