Six W-Trans staff recently attended the ITE Western District Annual Meeting and Exhibit in Sacramento. William Andrews, EIT, Cameron Nye, PE, and Brian Canepa, TDM-CP were first-time presenters! Kevin Carstens, PE, TE, MBA, Dalene Whitlock, and Mark Spencer were technical session moderators. In addition, Kevin attended the Downtown Sacramento Bike Tour along with the SMF Airside Tour. Brian was invited to provide input at the ITE Town Hall for Planners. Will was pulling double duty as part of his work on the Student Funding & Initiatives Committee. Mark was the MC for the ITE Western District Bowl competition. At the Annual Awards Banquet, Dalene was acknowledged for her election as an Honorary Member of ITE International, the highest recognition of notable and outstanding professional achievement presented by ITE. She will receive formal recognition of this achievement at the ITE International Meeting in Philadelphia in July. Overall, we met several of our teaming partners, clients and students from northern California, the Bay Area and throughout the west. W-Trans was also the sponsor of the Young Member & First Time Attendee Social!
