Part of our long-term growth strategy for R&R Pipeline Inc can be summarized into 2 simple statements. 1) We Are Actively Strengthening Our Foundation in Ohio Since our inception in 1984, R&R Pipeline has proudly served Central and Southeast Ohio with premier infrastructure solutions and careers for many people who live right here in our backyard. It is a great honor and we feel grateful to help improve the lives of people who live right here in our community. I made the haul from Philadelphia to Connecticut today. Taking the weekend somewhat removed from civilization to focus on the laundry list of tasks I've accumulated so far this trip, including finishing my sections of the Enola Enterprise Architecture project (yes we eat our own dog, or might you say, "fox" food). I always love to visit my friends, colleagues, and customers in Philadelphia. Great food, great people, great culture (except maybe when it is sports season 😉). Trying to continue my roll of a lesson learned per post on this trip, today we pick on work-ethic. In my experience, most customers we've supported in this space have their cast of "rock stars" within the DE and MBSE world, backed by "the rest", especially on both sides of government contracting. One key differentiator I look for when hiring onto the Enola team is will they actually work. If they overcommit to a customer to have a task done by the next day, will they actually burn through the midnight oil to meet their commitments? Our rule is that customers cannot directly assign our staff work, it must flow through the proper PM process to prevent overloading and unmanaged scope creep; however, if an employee accepts work out of process, we expect them to honor their word to maintain their own reputation along with ours (slippage is a huge performance metric within this company). I wonder how much further things would be across industries if each organization held their workforce to the same criteria 🤔 ? Agenda for the rest of the trip: 7/22 - 7/23: Hartford, CT 7/24 - 7/25: Boston, MA 7/26: Erie, PA 7/27 - 7/28: Geneva, OH 7/29: Cincinnati, OH 7/30: Dayton, OH 7/31 - 8/1: Indianapolis, IN 8/2 - 8/4: Memphis, TN 8/5 - 8/9: Near Dallas, TX 8/10 - 8/11: FINALLY HOME🙏 Keep it foxy 🦊 #digitalengineering #digitaltransformation #digitalthread #digitalenterprise #modelbasedenterprise #digitaltwin #enterprisearchitecture #mbse #softwarearchitecture #systemsengineering #softwareengineering #ontologies #datamodeling

Black List Recommended Writer. Academy Nicholl Quarter Finalist. Award-winning Writer/Director. Co-Founder & CEO at CenterFrame, Director and Producer at Iron Box Films
It’s tough to maintain perspective whenever you’re in the middle of a situation, whether it’s early in your career or 20 years in. You can gain perspective with time. Today I’m at Old Street Station, which for many years what’s a trouble riddled construction site. When traffic is terrible, and trains don’t stop, and costs go up, etc, you will wonder what the point of it all is. But now that it’s complete, it all comes together, and we can see, with perspective, what the trouble was all for. And you can finally learn what was worth while and what wasn’t. A career in film or TV is not that different. So how can you maintain perspective while you’re in the middle of “construction” ? You learn from those around you, and you learn from those who have experience. Sounds simple right? It is, but it also isn’t. Because those “others” aren’t always easy to find. Getting good and informed information on your career or project is hard, no matter what stage your career or project is in. To help you get that perspective, I can offer one place where you can find it, from people who have lots of it. CenterFrame.club/mentors Have a look. You might find the perspective you need there.

Leading Top Electrical Construction Talent To Live With Purpose ⚡️ Matching Talent To Hand-Picked Clients | I Write About Living A Meaningful Life After Near-Death 👉🏼 Advice to Level-Up 💜 Porphyria Advocate
I’ve made many crazy decisions in my life. Because that’s what felt right at that moment. In 2008, I decided to leave Construction for good after I helped scale an electrical construction firm from 400M to 1.3B in my tenure. Why? The owner’s values didn’t align with mine. I can’t ever compromise my values. I left the company at a time when I could’ve easily gotten promoted. In 2021, I left corporate America (my dream) to start my firm, M Squared Talent Solutions. Reason? Near-death experience showed me the fragility of mindlessly chasing the corporate ladder. It was a great gamble considering it was during Covid shutdowns, my weak body, etc. Present day, I founded The Electrical Community with Irene Walsh Garcia and Sergio Cortez. Easily the 1st community for #ElectricalProfessionals. Prompt? We’ve seen the industry’s problems and can’t unsee them. In our first meeting, we felt this could be a crazy decision. And it was. But that’s what made us pursue it. You see, in my life, all the crazy decisions turned out the best ones. They helped me find my calling - to help electrical professionals live a meaningful life and earn big figures. All that led to the foundation of The Electrical Community. Starting a community for ALL THINGS ELECTRICAL is not an easy decision. But those who dare to do crazy things end up making the best of it. I believe in our vision for the community. If you feel like doing something crazily useful today, check out the community. https://lnkd.in/gmnxE5gf ----------------------------------------------------------------- Follow Mayra Martinez ⚡️ for Tips to live a Meaningful Life! #MeaningfulLifeWithM2 #TheElectricalCommunity #ElectricalConstruction
