Are we too quick these days to spend time sharing bad feed experiences and NOT good experiences? 🤔 When you get praised and get good feedback and motivation from someone, how good does that feel? ❤️ When was the last time you shared a great experience of service and professionalism from a business or an individual? 🤔 Do we just expect these days a high level of service, take it for granted and don’t value it enough in our own everyday life’s? 🤔 Going to share this with you. This maybe the normal for a Volkswagen Car 🚙 dealership however to me, especially having a run of bad service from other car manufacturers dealerships, the service at Aftén bil #afténbil #volkswagen completely exceeded my expectations. 08:00am Monday morning unable to use car as issue with bonnet. Drive to Afténbil Åkersberga. Car booked in extremely professionally and we be looked at when time is available. (Bear in mind they are full plus have weekend customers issues too to start the week with) 09:00am 🚙 In a hire car and continuing my day. 😃 12:36pm 🎥 SMS video message from VW mechanic showing what the issue is, what they can do to repair it and a written description too 💪🏻 13:00 Back to VW dealership, told exactly when new part for repair will arrive and how they have made a temporary fix that will last until new part arrives. Walked out of the dealership feeling valued and not just any old lease car driver or annoying customer visiting them on a busy Monday morning. A lot can be learned by reflecting on own personal customer experience. Important we as individuals do this more often, and maintain we offer “Great service” within our workplaces and above all to our customers (happy I work within a business and with individuals that do this ❤️⭐️) I just say, keep showing appreciation and more importantly share good experiences, more than bad! #vwgroup #volkswagen #afténbil #excellentservice

Today marks exactly #100days since I took the lead at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Prague, 100 days full of great challenges, interesting encounters, successes (and of course a few failures) and most importantly a lot of new experiences and learning that push me further every day. Here are a few of the key findings that make Rolls-Royce Motor Cars special to me: 🔸 CUSTOMER FIRST. Everything we do starts and ends with the customer. Better said, a satisfied customer. Rolls-Royce does not sell cars, but it sells experience, comfort and the ultimate in luxury. And our customer care must match that. Because most of them don't buy a Rolls-Royce because they need one - they want to please themselves, they want to reward themselves for their success, they buy an experience, so our approach to them has to match that. 🔸 WE CAN. As I've written before, we are a "we can" company - we don't say no to any request or demand, but we do our best to accommodate the customer. And it doesn't matter if you're just considering a Rolls-Royce, just taking delivery of a car from us, or if you have a technical problem and need help. Not every company can afford that, which is why I'm glad I work here, where I don't have to hesitate. 🔸 ATTENTION TO DETAIL. All Rolls-Royce cars are still hand-built with a tremendous attention to detail. For example, the line that runs down the side of the car from the front to the back is still hand-drawn at #goodwood by a single person who is, so far, irreplaceable to Rolls-Royce. That translates into everything we do - everything has to be perfect down to the smallest detail, even if it costs more and takes longer. I still remember the first piece of advice I received in my new role: If you're not sure about something at Rolls-Royce, you'd better not do it at all. 🔸 BRITISH ELEGANCE. Rolls-Royce is my first major experience with a British brand and company. We're all familiar with the proverbial British gentlemanliness and refined manners, but I still find it terribly pleasing to meet my colleagues in Britain every time. Their insight, class, style of dealing, language and general approach to me is incredibly disarming. I confess that I have even changed my style of writing emails thanks to them - where I used to reply with a few bare sentences, I now make sure that my reply is of an adequate, I would say even aristocratic, standard. 🔸 THE KEY IS THE TEAM. I'm writing this as the last point, but in reality it should be the first. I would be nothing without a great team around me. And that doesn't just apply to my immediate team, which is a great team, but it's nice to feel that I have the whole CarTec Group behind me. When you work for a brand that has 117 years of history behind it, it's a huge responsibility, so having the background of a group that has been selling cars for 20 years and is the largest BMW dealer in the Czech market is definitely useful. #rollsroyce #rollsroycemotorcars #luxury #experience

Mercedes and Volvo agency February update The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) have now produced their February figures for Mercedes and Volvo compared to BMW and Audi. The table with the data is at the end of this post. The big news on agency this month is that JLR have announced that they're pushing their conversion to agency into the long grass. Now that we're back to a ‘normal’ market with supply-led sales, it's not surprising that they've taken this decision. Due to the scale of balance sheet risk, combined with a lack of flexibility through set pricing that agency creates, it was always going to make it difficult to implement profitably in a market the size of the UK. The fact that the majority of the Chinese new entrants are not going agency tells us all we need to know about their belief in squeezing extra margin from the supply chain by going direct to the consumer. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the Mercedes and Volvo boardrooms as they work through their increased balance sheets and requirement to keep up market share by putting sales through fleet and car rental - their least profitable channels. The elephant in the room is whether the VAG group will continue to push for agency. If I was a gambling man, then I would say not and expect they'll find a reason to follow Land Rover and, to use a Private Eye expression, "do a reverse ferret".
