Maps with data are fun. Here's one from RMI on state based impacts from transitioning to EV's AND reducing vehicle miles traveled with estimations of CO2e avoided emissions. If you download the calculator you can modify the VMT reductions and EV transition percentage and see your states impacts to CO2e reduction, average household $ savings, and avoided auto crashes.

Northern has revealed the CO₂e emission savings from the 25 most popular commuter routes on its network. In total, these 25 commutes by rail help prevent up to 5.49 million kg of carbon dioxide equivalent from entering the region’s atmosphere each year compared to the same journeys being made by road.

At TORM, we have decided to install LED lights wherever possible on our vessels.   On each vessel, we are replacing around 800 traditional tubes with LED lights with an annual saving of 70,000 kWh per vessel.   Greenhouse gas emissions associated with LED lights are considerably lower than traditional lights.   One LED bulb, providing the same luminosity as one traditional bulb, causes 60-80% fewer greenhouse gases. 🚢🌊 💪🏽   Do you use LED lights at home or at your workplace?   #OneTORM #sustainability #co2emissions
