We are expanding our sustainability strategy, setting new goals for 2030 and 2040. Our commitment to combat climate change is not just good for the planet, it's also a strategic move for growth. Sustainability is integral to our long-term success and going fully electric is an important step on our pioneering journey. As we move to further reduce emissions throughout our value chain, we also have the responsibility to do more – such as aiming to address our biodiversity footprint. Our updated strategy has been designed to help us do just that. At Volvo Cars, we aim to be pioneers in protecting people and planet by working towards net zero greenhouse emissions, embracing the circular economy and conducting business responsibly. And together with like-mined partners, we not only plan to meet our ambitious goals for 2030 and 2040, but also shape an industry where sustainability isn't just a goal; it's a fundamental driver of growth.

🙌🏻Our decarbonization roadmap is ready🙌🏻   Some of the highlights: 🔋Deploying more than 300 BEVs to our operations in 2024 and 2025. 🔋By 2030, we expect to have more than 2,000 BEVs in our operations as well other low- and zero-emission truck technologies, in addition to trucks using HVO fuel Yesterday, we released our 2023 Sustainability Report, showcasing our decarbonization roadmaps across our three divisions for the first time.   Since joining the global Road division in May 2023, I have, together with colleagues across Group functions and divisions, been working on developing a roadmap for reaching our targets. This entails, outlining our key levers required to reach our decarbonisation targets and how we are going to deploy them across our organisastion. I’m therefore extremely proud of outlining our decarbonization roadmap in the 2023 Sustainability Report and looking forward to deploying it and reducing CO2 emissions from transport and logistics together with customers, suppliers, hauliers and colleagues across DSV. I’d like to thank all of my colleagues for their collaboration and hard work in helping us to achieve the accomplishments outlined in the report.
