Once in a while you have to wonder how airlines do their planning and allocation of aircraft against the city pairs they are servicing - here is an example which is quite frustrating, apologies to my UA friends in advance 😀 My youngest son - Robin Thorsen - lives and works in Honolulu so therefore flies between HNL to SFO on a regular basis, and he normally flies United Airlines because he can use the points for flights over to Europe with Star Alliance partners when he visits Denmark The last 3 times he has flown from SFO back to HNL United has used a plane with no in-flight entertainment screens which would be ok if the wifi was working, but every time they have then announced after takeoff that the wifi isn't working because they are over water, go figure !!! The wifi should still work inside the actual aircraft and at least provide the entertainment on-demand option which United is advertising before any flight taking off Surely the UA scheduling team knows which aircrafts can provide wifi over water or not - so why do they keep allocating the worst possible combination of aircraft to this city pair - is it because there is no real competition or because they assume passengers download everything in advance - in that case they should stop advertising the on-demand entertainment service via the UA mobile app when it isn't available due to lack of wifi inside the plane Not sure where in the airline organisation this problem resides but just wanted to raise it in the hope somebody can include "wifi over water" as an attribute in the aircraft allocation algorithm in the future for flights operating over the ocean #youcandobetter #wifionallflights

It’s very important for you to take note of the price and time for each flight. A lot of times, the same time and flight will have different prices depending on the class you want to fly in or the discount available. Click on the price to see more prices if available. After selecting your flight, time, class and price, you click ‘done’ or ‘next’. Try this today. You can easily download any airline’s app or check for their website on Google.
