On May 19th, MTA Consultancy is proud to announce we celebrated our 1-year anniversary!
For anyone who's ever started a business from scratch, the first year can oftentimes be the most challenging between managing cash flow, creating new content & programs, travel, and the stress that comes along if wondering if you will make it through.
Author Les McKeown wrote a book called "Predictable Success", and we kept reading the chapter on how to get out of a phase he calls 'early struggle'.
Thankfully, we were lucky enough to have an incredible network of past colleagues, family, & friends who made referrals and helped us exceed our expectations in year one.
MTA would like to thank all of the clients that were kind enough to bring us in to help coach, train, & develop their people which include: MBRAUNJCSIHighfield Tech PartnersUSPROPike IndustriesAlliance Recruiting ResourcesDeWinter GroupMichelinZeektekMassachusetts Staffing AssociationCalifornia Giant Berry Farms Caliber Healthcare SolutionsMedstaff National Medical StaffingCapital Region Human Resource Association (CRHRA)
Every single one of our clients not only brought us in, but has expanded (or plans to expand) our partnership beyond the initial engagement. There's truly no greater honor or satisfaction than making a positive difference in the people's lives with whom we coach and train.
Lastly, we must thank our strategic partners at Building PPL, specifically Krysta Van Ranst & Paige Garland for helping accelerate the growth of MTA's business by leveraging state training grants.
We wouldn't have made it through year one without all of you, and the sky's the limit for MTA in the years to come thanks to your early adoption and support.
Signed,
Chris Mader

Really enjoyable time at the inaugural Medway Business & Skills Showcase on Wednesday, organised by Sean Henry and the Economic Development, Innovation & Town Centres team at Medway Council .
Several of the excellent panel discussions touched on the challenges facing employers of people from different generations, ranging from Baby Boomers like me, through to Gen Z and how their attitudes, approaches and whole business/life ethos differ.
It certainly highlighted the need for the managers of these teams to develop hugely enhanced skills in order to both support and motivate people across the generations - whilst still keeping an eye on the whole purpose of the business exercise, which is to make enough money for everyone to enjoy the lifestyles to which they aspire.
It’s too easy to dismiss these different needs by saying “people are still people”, but I have had first-hand recent experience of the very different approach to business that young people just starting out in their careers have, compared to us ‘old timers’ and maybe how the working conditions that we put up with as we progressed would be totally unacceptable to a younger workforce nowadays.
In the ‘days of yore’ it was almost as though an employer specifically set out to make any given job just-about-tolerable i.e. the employee was pushed to the absolute limit of their tolerance, just before they either kicked back or, in some sad cases, fell over the edge.
Well, those days are long gone!
It comes back to some of my previous posts about employers not only having to create enjoyable and fulfilling jobs but also providing a comfortable and pleasant environment in which to work too.
So everyone will still be expected to work hard to achieve success, but perhaps at long last noses need no longer be pushed towards the grindstone, the pips need not be squeezed until they squeak and maybe, just maybe, the workplace will be all the better for it?
Warwick is celebrating a landmark 2023 with thanks to all of our partners. We look forward to continued partnership and success in 2024. Happy New Year.

They doubted my decisions, I doubted myself and others have challenged my decision. Change takes courage & a lot of hard work.
12 months on….. 👀
And here I am in Dublin Airport, ✈️ Stateside 🇺🇸 to bring a new cosmetic treatment to Lalor Clinic. 🦷😁
🏆Lalor Clinic has been nominated for the prestigious Cosmetic Medical Awards #nicma24
The last 12 months have been INTENSE, my resilience & leadership have been challenged on every level!
Sleepless nights, 16 hour days, soliciotors from employment, to purchasing & merging of businesses, financial advisors, brand designers, marketing consultants, RQiA regulatory bodies, posting 2800 letters to all my patients from Carrickfergus , developing communication with all the patients who frequent the clinic in Belfast. 🤔😌💬
2 sets of builders & 4 simultaneous projects later….. it’s been busy!
As I sit here in Dublin Airport waiting on my flight to Chicago 🇺🇸, I can’t help but feel a little overwhelmed yet very proud of my team from Carrickfergus who are taking the risk & joining me on this new venture in elevated roles.
I’m proud of my daughters who try to keep me in check 😂 & to all my supporters who have stood by me, hugged me & pushed me when necessary….
Also I’m proud of my new team , who have experienced a steep curve of change in a short period of time.
From 4 to 12 team members with more to join us 🤩.
Lessons learnt:
🔷Know your WHY!
Change is tough & it’s takes inner strength & conviction to remain steadfast in your vision, your decisions & to own your follies!
🔷Back yourself!
Not everyone likes change, so expect resistance and be ready to justify your actions and expect the unexpected.
🔷Seek assurance & support.
The knocks have been tough but I’m one of 20,000 in the world to have run the toughest foot race on earth… the legendary Marathon Des Sables. One of my best life changing decisions. 🏜️ 🏃♀️
Reflection:
I can now say that I set up a business from scratch, purchased an old business in need of modernisation & merged these two businesses. Exciting times agead 🚀
The only way is forwards ✈️🇺🇸🦷🤠🏆

🌟 Reflecting on a transformative weekend at the MPI Tennessee Chapter Mid-Year Board Retreat Placemakr 🌟
Stepping into each board meeting or retreat always brings a mix of excitement and nerves. As someone deeply passionate about MPI, I thrive in these spaces as an idea person. Yet, the shadow of past insecurities sometimes looms large, whispering doubts about my adequacy in fulfilling my role. But amidst the anxiety, I remind myself: I am a volunteer, giving my best.
This time was different. As VP of Finance in a pivotal transition year for MPI, including a fiscal year extension and a new prospectus, I found myself at the center stage. I poured my heart into crafting a revamped prospectus, tirelessly seeking ways to better serve our sponsors. Presenting it was nerve-wracking; every question felt like a challenge to defend my hard work.
However, amidst the scrutiny, a beautiful realization dawned upon me. Each question, each input, was a testament to the community's care and commitment. We weren't just making decisions; we were engaging in a collective effort to elevate MPI. The aftermath of the presentation held the most precious moment. A call from someone I've clashed with, expressing genuine appreciation for my work, reminded me of the power of connection and understanding.
Leadership isn't just about delivering flawless presentations; it's about fostering a community where everyone feels seen and valued. This weekend reaffirmed the essence of MPI: leadership, community, inspiration, networking, and above all, lifting each other up. Building Bonds, One Card at a Time: Apart from My Digital Marketing Comfort Zone! 🏥🎉
I'm excited to share the amazing success of our recent Tune-Up Tuesday event at Felix Hospital! 🌟 As a digital marketing professional, I had a fantastic time combining my skills with team-building activities. 🤝💻
One of the highlights was our card castle activity. 🃏🏰 It wasn't just a game – it symbolized our work in healthcare. Building the card castles layer by layer showed how we build meaningful things with care and precision. Each card depended on the others for support, just like we rely on each other. 🏗️
Seeing our team in action was truly inspiring:
🔹 Strategizing: 🧠💡 Everyone shared ideas to create the most stable and impressive structures.
🔹 Communication: 🗣️📢 Clear instructions helped guide each other through tricky placements.
🔹 Problem-solving: 🛠️🔍 When challenges came up, we found creative solutions and showed our adaptability.
🔹 Celebration: 🎊👏 Every successful level was met with excitement, reinforcing our shared goals.
The laughter, concentration, and collective gasps as towers grew taller highlighted the bonds that make Felix Hospital a special place to work. 😄🔍 We weren't just building card castles; we were strengthening the foundations of trust and teamwork that allow us to provide excellent care to our patients. 🏥💪
Apart from my digital marketing comfort zone, this event showed how stepping out of our usual roles and embracing new challenges can lead to unexpected growth. 🌱✨ It reminded us that in healthcare, as in life, the strength of our connections determines how high we can go. 📈🔗
I'm incredibly proud to be part of a team that values these moments of connection. Together, we're not just building a stronger hospital – we're creating a culture of excellence, compassion, and innovation. 🏥❤️🌟
Here's to the power of unity in healthcare! May we continue to support each other, reach new heights, and make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. 💪❤️🌍
