🏆 We (with Adit Abraham, Tinah Hong, John Yang) won 1st place at the Anthropic AI hackathon yesterday. We built ClaudeScholar, a research assistant for science that can synthesize data, extract insights, and automate scientific workflows. Try it @ http://claudescholar.com ClaudeScholar uses Oloren AI's Orchestrator software to deploy containerized and interactive tools for Anthropic's Claude 2 model to call via an XML schema. Adding new tools built in Orchestrator is as simple as pasting the endpoint link! I really enjoyed this #AI event last week in Melbourne – fantastic to speak to so many Australian orgs about how they are already thinking about and using AI. My take-aways: 1. The everpresent need to work cross-functionally - in order to understand what to do with it 2. Being intentional about what AI is utilised for - since unlimited power leads to unlimited costs 3. Data security and data sovereignty as paramount issues - impact on logistics of how we work and where employees are based To serve 1, 2, and 3 - to immediately upgrade and modernise data systems, and to rapidly upskill and invest in your internal workforce. External consultants - by nature of being external - may be less useful in this #DigitalTransformation frontier.

We consider carry, value, and momentum style factors and study their contribution to time-series and cross-sectional returns in a broad selection of currencies. For asset allocation, we select and compare several approaches based on the risk budgeting framework.
