Todays #safeboating tip is: Always file a float plan – let someone know when and where you’re boating. Filing a float plan before heading out is crucial as it outlines your intended route and expected return time, ensuring that someone ashore is aware of your plans. This information is invaluable in case of an emergency, as it allows search and rescue teams to locate you more efficiently, significantly increasing the chances of a timely and successful rescue. #nationalsafeboatingweek
