I am currently managing an X account All I do for now is go through my boss’s fb page and -Curate already posted contents -Make bite size contents out of them -Resize them to fit the platform’s(X) text content size -Forward them on WhatsApp for editing and comments -After which I can start posting them. This experience has been a remarkable journey, and I am excited to reflect on the impactful work we've achieved as a team. 🧠 Understanding Influencer Impact: Our mission revolved around uncovering how online influencers shape conversations about mental health and self-care among the 18-30 age group. We embarked on this mission with clear and comprehensive objectives, working collaboratively as a team of five interns. 📊 Data-Driven Insights: We began by rigorously analysing existing data, ensuring inclusivity, and considering cultural and disability representation. This laid the foundation for our research. 🌍 A Global Perspective: To provide a holistic view, we identified the top 100 influencers across various demographics, delving into the language they use to connect with their audiences. Our research spanned different cultures, unearthing prevalent themes related to mental health and well-being. 📹 Diverse Content Spectrum: We explored the diverse range of content these influencers create, from workshops to podcasts, and assessed their impact on audience engagement. 📈 Competitor Analysis: In addition to understanding influencers, we conducted comprehensive competitor analysis to identify strategies that resonate with the 18-30 age group. This helped us refine our approach and stay ahead in the ever-evolving digital landscape. 🗺️ The Global Map: Our collective efforts culminated in the creation of a global map. This map delineates key influencers, prevalent themes, content types, and audience engagement strategies within the sphere of mental health support on social media. 💻 Digital Marketing Skills: Throughout this journey, we honed our digital marketing skills, learning how to leverage data, engage diverse audiences, and create impactful online campaigns that promote mental health awareness. 🌐 Linguistic Diversity: We celebrated linguistic diversity, with team members proficient in multiple languages, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of influencer strategies worldwide. Under her leadership, we transformed theory into practice, implementing managemental skills in digital marketing, competitor analysis, and more. Update on My Social Media Management Internship at Thesocialtalks It is been an incredible journey over the last two weeks plus. As a Social Media Intern, my first week was a little hectic as I tried to adjust to the team and get to know everyone. But that does not stop me from doing what I need to do. Thesocialtalks , as a media production company, is committed to providing high-quality news content that has the potential to change society. And, as a social media intern tasked with conducting research on trending topics and creating content based on it, I occasionally find myself scrolling through the internet.... analyzing, researching, and reading a lengthy article in order to find content ideas. I see different pages using clickbait of telling psychology students to comment “Internships” and then then would automatically get one, and I laughed and thought “who would believe in this” but.. There were 1000 comments of students, and then I was shocked, Ik the desperation, I was there too but then Ik those sleepless nights, hours of scrolling Linkedin/Internshala,cold emailing, connecting and networking with so many professionals, giving interviews,GD,written assignments and then landing up in a very avg underpaying internship yet Ik that process of hiring and also that underpaid internship taught me way more things then I learned in my masters college course Now this for genz students who think them “commenting internships” on Trending insta pages would help, Start doing these instead : 1.) Make a list of areas you want to work and learn (AI tools, Content,digital marketing,Social media, Coding, Public speaking etc)✨ 2.) Try to first venture the possibilities of your college to gain exposure (societies,even planning,Muns,quiz) and post those experiences on Linkedin, Add college societies in experience, post about your learnings, struggles and ask right questions and network with right kind of professionals ( domain you wish to work in future)🩵 3.) If you are active as Instagram user, Make a seperate professional account where you follow the professionals that inspire you( I follow almost 800 psychologists in one account and trust me each day there are 5 internships opportunities that they post)🎗️ 4.) type the kind of internships you wish to have on Job alerts, and you can apply with “easy apply” but sometimes they also mention their email in box , apply their with resume and your work sample🗒️ 5.) When you are emailing professionals for work and internship,mention “How you can contribute in their workspace” and also attach your work (writing sample, video editing, canva post etc) I was not even hiring for my page @genzeetherapist but Ayush Sharma shared his video sample in my email box and told me how he can help my page grow and that striked my attention and I did my first hiring Conclusion: YOU WILL HAVE TO HUSTLE TO GET INTERNSHIP, and no paid certification and clickbaits can help you get that, be proactive, network, know your skill set and APPLY!!

Me today vs the day I started as an intern 📸 With Engage Interactive applications now open, I thought it would be a good time to share some tips and tricks to get noticed. As someone who completed the internship and is now in a content creator role, I want to emphasize the importance of being yourself and choosing an area you’re passionate about. It sounds cliché, but it’s all about authenticity. In my application video, I made some horrendous jokes about how being a Leicester fan would make me a committed employee (the point still stands), but it wasn’t read off a script, and it showed my personality. When hiring interns, people aren’t looking for the finished article; they're seeking someone with real passion and the right attitude to learn. If you can convey that, then you’re halfway there. 😁 Reflecting on the first photo I took when starting the internship, compared to where I am now, is crazy.
