We are proud to play an essential role in the vitality of the territories that are home to the mobility infrastructure entrusted to us. Because #Safety is one of our core values, and because good safety habits can foster a highly effective safety culture, our annual Safety Week held in all our geographies was this year again a great collective success. This event focuses on risk prevention and safety (#SpotandStop) and brings together teams from all of VINCI Concessions’ airport, highway and railway projects. These efforts are paying off, with a continuous decrease in frequency and severity rates for accidents at both construction and operation phases. VINCI Concessions, through its subsidiary SunMind, concluded an agreement to acquire 100% of Helios Nordic Energy AB, a Swedish company specialising in developing solar farms and batteries to store energy. It operates in northern Europe (primarily in Sweden and the Baltic countries) and develops projects until they become Ready to Build (RTB). The amount agreed for 100% of the capital totalled €73 million, alongside a proportion of Helios revenues over the next five years. The transaction is expected to be finalised in June, once regulatory approvals have been received.
