For the ninth year in a row, Verizon has received a perfect score on the 2023 Disability Equality Index.   Did you know that, according to a recent report from Disability:IN, fewer than 5% of U.S. employees voluntarily reported having a disability? These stats remind us that we must continue prioritizing a workplace where everyone can bring their whole selves to work. When we shift that narrative and we begin to say, ‘You can identify as having a disability. That is something that you can be proud of. That makes you who you are,’ the number of people who identify in the workplace as disabled is going to grow. This award goes to our entire V Team! Special thanks to Tracey Sumler, Oriel Arusy, Fred Moltz and Natasha C. for accepting the award on behalf of Verizon.
