“Gråsten Agricultural School has both pig and cattle operations that produce enough slurry for the new plant to generate roughly 350,400 kWh of electricity a year from the biogas. 🟢 Bjarne Ebbesen explains: “The new plant makes us self-sufficient in energy. We’ve had photovoltaic panels since 2019, which supply us with power during the day, and the biogas plant takes over at night. Calculations show that the plant reduces our climate impact by 1,500 tonnes of CO2 equivalents a year, so it has a real impact on the green transition.” ♻️ Read the story of how "mini-biogas plants" can convert the farm's own slurry into energy and make the farm CO2-neutral, right here: https://lnkd.in/ennFJbus #Aconsult #Biogas #Agriculture #concretetank #RenewableEnergy #Energytransition

For the first time in the EU, several biogas plants are combined in a joint hub, facilitating the production of biomethane in small, off-grid farms. Methagora and Renera proudly announce that the #innovative virtual pipeline concept is being implemented for the first time in France. Through this project, #biogas plants located within a radius of up to 100 kilometres capture gas from the farm’s waste, generating additional revenue for the farms and supporting their beneficial participation in the #circular #economy. Each of them will be producing biogas from agricultural waste exclusively. This biogas will be purified into biomethane, compressed into a tank and transported by road to a designated point for grid injection. The project required major investments, including the installation of equipment on the methanisation units and the construction of an injection site within the hub. These investments were made possible thanks to the long-term Biomethane Purchase Agreement (BPA) between Methagora and Renera. Key Facts: ⏩ The first injection of the hub into the gas grid is planned for the end of 2024. ⏩ Yearly biomethane production of 35 GWh is expected. ⏩ This project is the first combination of several plants in a joint hub in the European Union.

A Complete Guide of "𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬" [ PDF Guide ] ➡𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞:>> https://lnkd.in/gX7R6PZS The growth of this market is driven by the increasing demand for renewable energy sources, stringent government regulations for environmental protection, the growing need for safe waste disposal, and increasing awareness regarding the benefits of anaerobic digestion systems. However, the availability of other renewable energy sources restrains the growth of this market. The increasing adoption of organic feedstock for biogas generation and the integration of advanced technologies into anaerobic digestion systems are expected to create market growth opportunities. However, the operational issues with anaerobic digestion systems are major challenges for the players operating in this market. The increasing use of co-digestion is a prominent trend in the anaerobic digestion systems market. ➡𝐛𝐲 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ◾Power Generation ◾Fuel ◾Agricultural & Industrial Waste Management ◾Other Applications ➡𝐛𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 ◾#Automotive ◾#Energy & #Utilities ◾#Commercial & #Residential ◾#Agriculture ◾Industrial 👉𝑵𝒆𝒘𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓: https://lnkd.in/gMdTjDru #Keyplayers: Hitachi Zosen Inova AG (Switzerland), Nature Energy (Denmark), BTS Biogas Srl/GmbH (Italy), EnviTec Biogas AG (Germany), Evoqua Water Technologies LLC (U.S.), PlanET Biogas Global GmbH (Germany), Biogen (UK) Ltd (U.K.), VWS (UK) Ltd, Agrinz Technologies GmbH (Austria), Bioenergy Devco (U.S.), AAT Abwasser- und Abfalltechnik GmbH (Austria) #powergeneration #fuel #powergeneartion #industrialwastemanagement #digestertanks #agriculture #energy #industrialwaste #sewagewaste #biogas #animaldoung #cowdoung
