I was thrilled to join the keynote session this morning at Scottish Renewables #SROFFSHOREWIND24 following an address from the First Minister of Scotland Humza Yousaf MSP. 🎉 Aegir Insights has closed a €8.5M Series A round to build the next generation of its software and data to accelerate offshore wind investments 🎉 The investment was led by Seaya Andromeda with the participation of Climentum Capital, both Climate Tech Article 9 venture capital funds. Personally I am thrilled that Scott Urquhart, Rikke Winther Nørgaard and I managed to land such a transformational investment, just 15 months after we did a seed round for a fraction of the amount, received now. The fact that this has been done in a not-so-easy VC market, makes it even more impressive and goes to the team and the product. It's a monumental task to be in funding mode, whilst growing the ARR topline, developing tools and the organization, but the great team at Aegir Insights did exactly that. With the new investment Aegir can now fully focus on growth. I expect no less than fantastic results 😁.
