D&I (Diversity and inclusivity) is no longer remaining an option for modern day businesses. Americans are putting the pressure on all of us to practice and embrace diversity and acceptance. D&I focused initiatives are the fasting growing programs, departments, and job roles right now. What is your organization doing to improve or development more D&I? 🤔 #diversity #inclusivity #growth
Today marks the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, a pivotal moment in history that occurred on June 28, 1969. These events at the Stonewall Inn in New York City catalyzed the modern LGBTQ rights movement, spotlighting the urgent need for equality and civil rights in the United States and around the world. As we reflect on the progress made since Stonewall, it's important to recognize the work that still lies ahead. At Starfish Ad Age, we are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where every member of our community feels valued and respected. We understand that diversity is not just about bringing different people together but about embracing and celebrating these differences as strengths. This anniversary serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience of the LGBTQ community and the importance of solidarity in the ongoing fight for equality. Let's continue to advocate for policies and practices that ensure everyone, no matter how they identify or who they love, has the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and equitable environment. #StonewallRiots #DiversityAndInclusion #PrideMonth #LGBTQRights"

Visited the New Chester Market today with the other half, it was reassuring to see an Inclusive Toilet for anyone to use. Simple yet effective and a great way to show that your venue is LGBT inclusive. I’d love to see more inclusive loos across venues! 🚽 Inclusive toilets are more than just physical spaces; they symbolise our commitment to fostering a safe and accepting environment for everyone. By offering gender-neutral and all-gender toilet facilities, we send a powerful message of inclusivity, acceptance, and support. It's about recognising and respecting the identities of our transgender, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming community. It's about acknowledging that everyone deserves to use toilet facilities without fear of judgment or discomfort. 🏳️🌈 By implementing inclusive toilets, we create a culture that empowers individuals to be their authentic selves. It builds trust and strengthens our sense of community. #InclusionMatters #DiversityAtWork #LGBT Support #InclusiveWorkplace #EmbraceDifference

I must admit, during the panel, I was taken aback by my own vulnerability. However, I pushed through and opened up by sharing stories that fostered empathy and connection among the audience. It was a powerful experience that reminded me of the importance of creating allies and how sharing our personal experiences can be a catalyst for positive change. #acceptancewithoutunderstanding #acceptanceforall2050

🌈 Let's break down barriers in LGBTQ and minority homeownership! Homophobia and lack of understanding are hurdles that we should overcome. Education is key for buyers and real estate professionals. Empathy and advocacy play important roles in guiding clients through the process. Let's provide accessible resources and create an inclusive housing industry. Question: How can we work together to create a more inclusive environment for LGBTQ and minority homebuyers? #Homeownership #InclusionMatters #LGBTQ Homebuyers #blog https://lnkd.in/gthuVWuA

This June, I reread an article I wrote last year. Unfortunately, we’ve seen MORE legislative harm and attacks on the LGBTQ community over the passing year. It reminded me that the structures we create (in any environment) produce behaviors that serve that structure. As business leaders, we must be very intentional about the structures we create. Are we promoting inclusivity and acceptance? Or are we creating an environment that allows for or excuses exclusivity? The private sector can be a powerful channel to demonstrate what we stand for and demand when legislation fails us. 🏳️🌈 https://lnkd.in/eCTpyYvz
At COLAB, we kicked off Pride Month, celebrating the importance of acceptance and equality for all members of the LGBTQ community. Authenticity, one of our core values, reflects our commitment to embracing the true, multi-faceted self each of us has. We want everyone to feel comfortable showing up every day as their authentic selves, whether you work at or with COLAB. Last year, we wrote about the importance of inclusivity at COLAB. If you missed it, here it is: https://bit.ly/4caAv7Q We strongly encourage you to attend a pride event near you. It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our beautiful differences and show your support for the LGBTQ community. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 #Pride #PrideMonth #DEI #Diversity #Inclusion

Today is #CincodeMayo, but did you also know today is International Family Equality Day? Today, on #InternationalFamilyEqualityDay, we at Tiny Villages Inc. want to reaffirm our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive community for everyone. We're a nonprofit dedicated to building a tiny house community for the homeless in Denver, CO, where individuals and families from all backgrounds can find shelter, support, and a sense of belonging. We believe that family is defined by love and connection, not by traditional structures or societal norms. That's why we welcome all families, including LGBTQ families, into our tiny house community. Our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and supported—no matter who they are or whom they love. As we work toward building our community, we envision a place where everyone can thrive, grow, and find stability. It's a space where diversity is celebrated, and everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity. Let's use International Family Equality Day as a reminder to embrace equality, compassion, and unity as we build a better future together. At Tiny Villages Inc., we believe that everyone deserves a home, and we're committed to making that a reality. #FamilyEqualityDay #LGBTQ #TinyVillagesInc #CommunityForAll

As a Relationship Manager at Workplace Pride, Robert Corvers takes great pride in the work he does for our members and his community. Recently, Robert had the privilege to share his personal story and expertise on LGBTIQ inclusion in the workplace during a panel discussion at Squire Patton Boggs. 📽 You can view the video below. This opportunity was not just important; it was necessary. Globally, we are witnessing the resurgence of anti-gay laws in countries like Ghana, Russia, and even the US. Unfortunately, this often translates into increased discrimination and microaggressions against the LGBTIQ community. It is crucial for employers to not only acknowledge this issue but also take action. Prioritising inclusion aligns seamlessly with business objectives. It fosters a win-win situation – not only do satisfied employees result, but it also contributes to higher profits in the long run. #WorkplacePride #LGBTHistoryMonth #InclusiveWorkplace #LGBTIQ

Why Do Brands Only Show Their True Colors in June? 🌈 As it is Pride Month, I have been reflecting on the influx of rainbow logos and celebratory posts from brands across all industries. It is heartening to see so much support for the LGBTQ community, but it also raises an important question: Why do these expressions of solidarity often disappear once July begins? True allyship means standing by the LGBTQ community year-round, not just when it is trending. It is about ensuring inclusive policies, supporting LGBTQ employees and customers, and fostering a culture where everyone feels safe and valued every single day. So, as we bid farewell to another Pride Month, let's challenge ourselves and the brands we support to keep the spirit of Pride alive all year. 🌟 #PrideMonth #LGBTQAllyship #InclusiveWorkplaces #YearRoundSupport #TrueColors
