In martial arts, learning how to fall is paramount, and is a lesson that can be used in all sports. It's the same in business. If you know you are going into a fall/decline, and you know how to make it a soft landing, it will be that much easier to ascend and get back on that upward trend. Need help? Financial Professional | Strategic Banking Leader | Workout and Restructuring Expert | Distressed Asset Sales | Author, Teacher, Mentor
Our "Workout War Stories" yesterday webinar was a tremendous discussion. Jon Winick, Justin Barr, Bill Krueger, and I had a "graduate level case study" breakdown of some of our most challenging restructurings. I promise we simplified the discussion so that it is useful to everyone, not just "inside baseball" for workout folks. Posting the replay of the full video for those of you that are enjoying summer vacation or dealing with fires before quarter-end! We hope you find interesting!! #distresseddebt #cre #banking https://lnkd.in/gRZZY4Rr

When it comes to med ball throws, intent is king 👑 To get the most out of them, we need athletes to be trying to move the ball as fast as they possibly can. I find that simple external cues work best, to drive intent, eg knock the wall down. #strengthandconditioning #strengthandconditioningcoach

There's a common opinion, that three point revolution happened in the middle of the last decade, when pace and space playing style became popular. With the guys like Steph Curry, NBA basketball became all about threes. This season teams attempts 35 threes per game, with Celtics leading the way with 42.2 per contest. But it's not a new thing. First three point revoliution happened about 40 years prior to this current one. But for some reason, it got forgotten. Sure, this last one took threes much more further, but to act, like it's a completely new thing, it's just not fair. This current revolution should've happened much earlier, but since first wave of threes happened in ABA, it didn't received much recognition. In this article, I've tried to look at how and who made that revolution happen. https://lnkd.in/d7i-kaa9

TLDR: FWIW, Jürgen Klopp has been my life coach for almost a decade. Here's why*. --- For anyone that knows me—like really knows me—knows that I'm passionate about football, or soccer, depending on who I'm talking to. (And before you ask, it's not just because I have an 8 year old son who plays recreational soccer.)** It might sound trivial or sentimental to some, but to myself and many others around the world, football is a religion. A culture. A language. A philosophy. A mentality. An escape from reality—for better or worse. So I’m not unique when I say, football has given me some of my fondest memories, and it has served as the backdrop for many emotional moments—and periods—in my life. I recognize its long-term effects on my character and my “goodness”, and I value its significance in my life, especially during early adolescence and young adulthood. Football—and learning the football culture—has taught me so much, and genuinely helped me through some rough times. Now, football is life—although I suspect it always was and was always destined to be, given where and how I was raised. Now, I devote time and energy to football because I've accepted that it’s good for my soul. And it's free (except for the streaming subscriptions and my time). THANKS FOR LISTENING!!! #clarklife #footballislife #thebeautifulgame #soccer #soccermom #contextiseverything #mentalhealthawareness #tellyourstory #professionaldevelopment #corporateresponsibility #leadership #leadbyexample #makeroom #payattention #inspire #grit #resilience #stamina #passion #noroomforracism #postitandsee #thisistheway #madmom #millennialmom #iykyk
