International Women's Day 💛 This week we’re raising a glass to the ladies behind L.A Brewery, whose passion and expertise drive L.A Brewery forward. We’ll be hearing about their role and the words of advice that have inspired them. Together, we look forward to continuing our journey, creating naturally non-alcoholic drinks that are good for you and for the planet. We've heard from Ellen. Up next… ⭐ Eloïse Arkell Business Development Executive I absolutely love being part of our nimble, small team— we’re lucky to get a comprehensive overview of all aspects of our business. What's really cool to me is being part of a vision and a drink that is so different from everything else on the market. We're offering a new style of alcohol alternative that's abundant in its natural essence, with nothing stripped away—all made at our micro-brewery in Suffolk. 💡Eloïse’s Most Inspiring Advice: Act as though what you do makes a difference because it does. My primary role involves visiting potential customers in London that I think would be a perfect fit for L.A Brewery. It's incredibly rewarding to see initial conversations and tastings evolve into listings across multiple sites — *spoiler alert*, we'll be announcing something I'm very excited about very soon. Being able to witness the production process first hand, I know the story behind each drink, including where the ingredients come from, our special fermentation process, and the care that goes into every bottle. It's not just about selling a drink—it's about sharing a story and giving people a special drink that hits the spot in a way other non-alcoholic drinks haven’t before. #internationalwomensday #womeninbusiness

Wrapping up a dynamic week at New York Climate Week, Dario Soto Abril facilitated an inspiring panel discussion on ‘Pioneering Innovations in Sustainable Food and Fashion’, hosted by Clim-Eat, Columbia Climate School, and Barnard College #Food and #fashion are two of the most impactful global industries, shaping not just our lifestyles but also our environment and society. Yet, both face immense challenges regarding sustainability. The fashion industry is under fire for its environmental impact—textile waste, pollution, and labour ethics. Similarly, the food sector is scrutinised for deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions, and food waste. As the interconnectedness of these challenges becomes clearer, so does the need for cross-sector collaboration. Dario remarked, “This event provided a unique platform for dialogue and innovation, uniting thought leaders and experts from both industries, as well as entrepreneurs, politicians, academics, and the next generation, all eager to tackle challenges and seize opportunities in sustainability.” #ClimateWeekNYC #Innovation #ClimateAction #CollaborativeSolutions
In an intimate closing during Forward Food & Fashion’s innovation panel, Dario Soto Abril asked the panellists to share the failures that brought them to where they are today. The human moment uncovered how Mike Lee, Erin Beatty, Clarabeth Concaret, and Laurent Francois fought the status quo to find their place, collectively encouraging the audience to create what they think is missing from the world.

I’m excited to share my paper titled “Consuming Place: Women, Wine, and Imagination.” This comparative study explores wine drinking among English and Australian women, uncovering the intricate links between their wine consumption and their experiences, thoughts, and imaginations. I illustrate how wine facilitates temporal engagement and social memory, embedding itself within imagined communities of belonging. Consequently, this research reveals that wine drinking is not merely a gendered activity but a multifaceted, culturally situated practice and experience.

Think outside the box
Founder and Owner @Janco | HVAC | Instrument | Jet Fan | Smoke and Fire control System | BMS | We meet all your HVAC needs
🤔Just had this thought about thinking outside the box. It's great and all to have these crazy ideas, but if you don't actually do anything with them, then what's the point, right? —> It's taking action that turns those ideas into something real! ➡️Think about it this way, Dror Benshetrit, a super smart guy, says thinking outside the box is about grabbing ideas and approaches from totally different areas. Like, imagine a chef who's a whiz at French cuisine but also knows a ton about chemistry – that could lead to some seriously innovative dishes! ➡️The key 🗝️ thing is: Being creative and seeing things from all sides is a must-have skill these days. It helps you adapt to whatever comes your way, be it at work or in your everyday life. Plus, if you're open to new ideas and solutions, you're way more likely to thrive in this ever-changing world. ➡️For instance, ad agencies gotta come up with wild and unexpected ideas all the time to grab people's attention, right? Or like, how many inventions started with someone taking a regular product/ ora thing and giving it a totally new twist? ✅So, yeah, thinking outside the box is awesome, but remember, gotta take action on those ideas too! 🙌 We're genuinely energized by HVAC endeavours and collaborating with companies that share our spark is exhilarating! We thrive on mutual support and collective growth. Forming a partnership with you would be a landmark moment for us! 👉Our motto, "Let's stay together," is a testament to our commitment to cultivating deep-rooted connections with our clients, much like the strong, intertwined branches of a flourishing tree. Having innovative and "out-of-the-box" ideas is fantastic, but without action, those ideas remain just thoughts. Transforming ideas into reality is what drives progress and creates tangible impact. Here are some key points to consider: The Importance of Action: Realization of Potential: Ideas hold potential, but it is action that turns potential into reality. Without execution, even the most brilliant idea remains just an abstract concept. Innovation and Progress: Many breakthroughs and advancements stem from putting ideas into practice. Experimentation and implementation can lead to innovations that drive progress in various fields. Learning and Improvement: Taking action on an idea, even if it initially leads to failure, provides valuable feedback. This feedback is essential for refining the idea and improving upon it, leading to eventual success. Building Confidence: Acting on ideas builds confidence and experience. Each step taken, regardless of the outcome, enhances skills and understanding, making it easier to execute future ideas. Inspiring Others: When ideas are put into action, they can inspire others to think creatively and take initiative. Iraj Janali

It's always great to see #women cheering on other women. | #WomenBusinessOwners #WomenInBusiness #WomenEntrepreneurs #Entrepreneurship #SmallBusinessesMatter #SmallBiz #SMBs #SMEs #WomenOwnedBusinesses #WBENC #PeaceCoffee #TakingStockFoods #MadeInMinnesota #WinWinWin #WooHoo
This is a picture of me and Lee Wallace after the Founder’s Forum panel on distribution hosted by FINNOVATION Lab and Naturally MN. Alec Davis was also on the panel, and Heidi Traore moderated the discussion. This is what I learned Today, I talked with Peace Coffee about the different experiences that businesses face as we pursue distribution. Helping other founders understand the cost that goes into working with distributors effectively felt like a public service : I wish I had learned about this six years ago! It's been amazing to share the needs and challenges of early-stage CPG companies and offer experienced tips. Even though I’m dealing with challenging distribution setbacks as I write, It feels like I've finally made it in a way! How exciting! After the public round table, Lee and I had a quick chat. Hearing about her journey to successful growth and realizing that I could be in that position someday fills me with hope and makes me eager to keep working hard. What I’m excited about Even though I may not be an expert in distribution yet, I have plenty of relevant experience to share with others. I don't want to wait until I've mastered a skill to start sharing because by then, I might forget the creative and innovative things I'm doing now to make things work. Talking to Lee, who has been the CEO of Peace Coffee for almost 20 years, and seeing that she's still learning and growing at that stage, reminds me that the journey never really ends. It's all about enjoying the ride. Call to action… 📬 Sign Up Now: get this recipe and rediscover a loving connection with food http://eepurl.com/ghKgj5

The key to creative problem-solving often lies in seeing things from all angles. This requires openness to perspectives from outside your own field or area of expertise.
