📰 In Het Financieele Dagblad, a portrait of Professor Leonardo DiCarlo, his lab at QuTech, and the Delft quantum companies that evolved from it. 👥 The article includes interviews with Leo DiCarlo himself, Alessandro Bruno from QuantWare, Adriaan Rol from Orange Quantum Systems, Niels Bultink from Qblox, as well as Sal Jua Bosman from Delft Circuits. 💡 They discuss performing scientific research in a lab that develops groundbreaking technology, quantum technology markets, the workings of the Dutch quantum ecosystem, and highlight the importance of attracting and retaining talent. 🤝 Currently, they are all collaborating on the HectoQubit/2 project. Under DiCarlo's leadership, QuTech has partnered with the four companies and TNO to develop full superconducting quantum computing systems, which will be made publicly available through QuTech's Quantum Inspire cloud platform.
