We reflect on a successful four-day showcase of our frozen food industry equipment in collaboration with AFE and VDL Systems. We achieved our goal of showcasing our wash-down continuous motion UVA Dynamic VFFS machine, showing how to reduce plastic, and making creative packaging corner seal bags with recyclable, multi-layered PE film. Our visitors received a live demo of reducing film with our ceramic seal system and how the system helps to increase the machine's output. We also showcased a UVA Dynamic with a corner seal unit to create corner seal bags that are 100% recyclable, thanks to the two-layered heat-sealable PE film supplied by Oerlemans Plastics B.V. Our partner AFE showed a 48-meter AFE freezing tunnel built by VDL Systems, with an impressive 25 tons per hour capacity for freezing fries. Alongside the tunnel freezer, they show a 7-ton AFE spiral freezer for sliced potatoes. Our guests had the opportunity to see and walk through these freezers, which was a unique experience. AFE demonstrated how they controlled hygienic risk and showed the advantages of their modular set-up and fast installation time. The event provided an excellent opportunity for AFE and VDL to showcase our solutions to our clients and demonstrate how we can support them to make a difference in tomorrow's world.
