A regulating valve is at the centre of this. The connection points and the valve are fixed.   ➡ Step 2 In order to guarantee the sealing of the screw-in fittings and a uniform screw-in height of the assembly even after reassembly, we have replaced the conical screw-in threads with cylindrical screw-in threads with a sealing edge.   ➡ Step 3 The elbow fittings are replaced with bent tubes. This significantly reduces the number of sealing points.   ➡ Step 4 The final solution uses a soldered assembly, which also eliminates the central T-fitting. Good news for Engineers and Tube Processors: The updated product standard EN10305-3: 2023 for welded cold sized precision tubes has been released!   Recently, the new part 3 of the EN10305 with technical delivery conditions of steel tubes for precision applications has been published. It combines the previous parts 3 and 5 into one comprehensive document. The new standard is available at your local national standards body (DIN, AFNOR, BIS, NEN, etc.).   Main new modifications: - The part 3 from 2023 now covers welded cold sized steel tube of circular cross section (previously regulated in the old part 3 from 2016) AND also the ones of square and rectangular cross section (previously regulated in the old part 5 from 2016). So, the former part 5 no longer exists. - New and high strength steel precision tube grades with their mechanical properties and chemical compositions have been added to the standard.   The revision process involved a dedicated team of technical experts from across Europe, with the secretariat led by the Dutch standards body NEN. This group of experts around convenor Hans Holtkamp worked for about 2 years on the revision of the text, after which the formal process of voting and publication by the EU countries took less than a year, underscoring the importance and urgency of this development.   We encourage all material specifiers to explore the possibilities that this new improved product norm offers and embrace it in their specifications. We encountered a similar issue when feeding candles into our Inverted Flow wrap machine for packing 6/10 candles per pack. The bottom diameter of the candles is higher compared to the rest of their diameters. To address this, we developed a special feeding conveyor specifically tailored for feeding the candles. While this feeding method works well for cylindrical products with uniform diameters, it may not be as effective for products with varying diameters like the candles we're handling.
