Satsang is a gathering of truth or true/honest people. Well, it became the final gathering for many who had attended a Satsang by a former cop turned Godman, Bhole Baba, aka Narayan Saakar Hari. 116 women and children have been killed in a stampede now, and close to 100 were admitted to the hospitals. Organized with shoddy infrastructure, inadequate ventilation, and more than anticipated, people have all led to this mishap where so many innocent lives were lost. The local administration said they had given permission for 5000 people, while 200% more people had thronged there. So, where does the blame rest? 1. Administration- they didn't intervene when the crowd was getting uncontrollable 2. People- they saw the crowd, the flimsy tent, felt the claustrophobic heat, and yet to catch a glimpse of "God-Man," they decided to risk their lives 3. Bhole Baba- Being a former cop and an enlightened being, could he not have intervened 4. Do we become like Paresh Rawal and bring God to the stand?
