On July 4th we celebrate the courage of those men and women who embraced the idea of freedom and indepedence and sacrificed much to earn it. It took over seven years from the time the Declaration of Independence was signed until the day the British surrendered, but those in the halls of Congress, and those who rallied behind such a powerful ideal didn't know how long the task would last. Today we are honored and inspired by those same "self- evident" truths to continue building a more perfect Union, no matter how long the task will take. Business Sales Representative | Helping B2B Organizations And B2C Sales Professionals Adopt An Efficient Lead Managing Process.
"Sic-Parvis-Magna" Ever since I came across this phrase, it became the north of my compass in life. It shows me my direction & destiny. It's a Latin quote; Sic Parvis Magna which translates to: "Greatness from Small Beginnings". It has been really a vital part of both my personal and professional growth. The motto originates back to 1587 by legendary explorer Sir Francis Drake's words: "There must be a beginning to any great matter, but the continuing unto the end until it be thoroughly finished yields the true glory". It is no coincidence that the well-known navigator, even made a knight by Queen Elizabeth I, was born in a family of humble origins, yet with his audacity and willpower he has conquered a prominent position very difficult to reach in the epoch. The biggest thing that I have learnt from this is that despite how good the end goal and rewards are, it is the journey which makes it far more interesting and exciting. If something is easily achievable, then being able to complete or attain it would not be of the essence as much compared to something with a resilient journey. If you really want something, and you commit yourself to get it by giving all of your faith, the world can only indulge you and accompany you towards success, like a gentle wind that blows a ship to a rich and safe harbor. The watchword is always the same: DISCIPLINE.

People, who are always trying to take every opportunity from me, people who are making sure that my life is a tragedy whatever I do, people who are making me suffer like it’s a hell on earth, who are you? Why can’t you do the same for successful people like Lex. Lex, I am sorry, I like you very much. I don’t mean anything bad for you. I am just trying to show the people who only wants to make me suffer that there are successful and lucky people who could afford to take a little setback. I am sorry. But I am just trying my best to make them understand…. I am torn into pieces by these hungry people who want to hurt me again and again, to take from me. Why can’t they see other successful and happy people? Or are they out of reach to them? There are so many successful and happy people out there. They could actually afford to take a setback or two. And if you have taken the success or job from someone else, don’t hesitate to give your job to others. We need to build the processes to protect innocent people like me. When someone is fired for another’s selfish reasons, all morals break lose here. It discourages people to even try. And there would be absolutely nothing to take from. Lex, could please cover this in your next podcast about why people are not taking from you or other successful people? Please!! That would be a greatest question to ponder over.
Happy birthday America! To me, it is the greatest nation on Earth ❤ I'm forever grateful for this country, for this life, for all of you for giving a silly immigrant kid like me a chance. I love you all! ❤

Right before the pandemic hit in 2020, I celebrated my 29th birthday by achieving my goal of visiting all seven continents. Standing on the deck of that Antarctic cruise ship shifted my total world view and how I saw myself a within it. It was an honor to share the wisdom gained from my travels with Jonece Starr Dunigan for Reckon Media. Perfect timing for the start of the new year. Read the full piece here: https://lnkd.in/gdc2vFdC

Happy New Year Everyone!! 😄🎉 While whole world celebrates New Year on 1st January, very few think about why we celebrate New Year on January 1st and not on any other date! Let's learn few things about this: • Roman Roots: January, named after Janus the god of beginnings, was destined for new year glory. His two faces symbolized the transition from old to new, making it the perfect starting point. • Caesar's Calendar Coup: Julius Caesar made it official, declaring January 1st the year's launchpad. This calendar spread like wildfire, influencing celebrations across the Roman Empire. • Gregorian Groove: Fast forward, Pope Gregory XIII's calendar upgrade kept January 1st at the top of the year heap. This solidified its global dominance, making it the go-to New Year's Day. • Globalization Wins: As the world connected, one calendar became key. January 1st, already a heavyweight, became the undisputed champion of New Year's Day. So, raise a glass to January 1st – it's not just a random date, it's a historical champion of fresh starts! #NewYear #HistoryBuff #LetsGetCalendary

Lessons, Resilience…. Medal of Honor Day, held annually on March 25, provides an opportunity for Medal of Honor Recipients and the public alike to pause and reflect on the importance of service and sacrifice. National Medal of Honor Day was first observed on March 25, 1991, when Congress declared it as a day to "foster public appreciation and recognition of Medal of Honor Recipients." The selected date has an important place in Medal of Honor history, as March 25, 1863, was the date of the first Medal of Honor presentation. On that day, Private Jacob Parrott became the first Recipient of the Medal of Honor. Parrott's was one of six Medals of Honor presented that day to the Andrews Raiders, a group who showed the values of courage, commitment, sacrifice, integrity, commitment and patriotism which are still important to Recipients of the Medal of Honor today.
