A good podcast about web3 is The DeFi Report. They just did their 4 episode, so it's pretty new, but very good point to reflect upon. https://lnkd.in/eitjsR6K I like a lot their latest discussion on Uniswap and potential opportunities for them to expand. What I liked is that they recognize the tremendous potential of AMMs compared to order books to bootstrap liquidity for illiquid assets and how this could be beneficial, particularly for equity of startups who are traditional illiquid assets (min 12:10). What I agree with a bit less is that they said that since Uniswap creates most of the revenue and value for the Ethereum blockchain. Uniswap will develop its own blockchain at some point. And I think it's actually a pretty unlikely scenario as they would just compete with the tremendously overcrowded market of L2, and Blockchain has a very different business model from what Uniswap has, as they would need to create an ecosystem of builders on their own blockchain and with the reach of Uniswap is not an easy task. All in all, very interesting conversation that's accessible also to people who are less knowledgeable about blockchain and what to learn more about it.
