Wondering what our biologists are up to these days? They're busy dropping the greatest of all time. When they're not working on their music careers, they're relocating native fish to a safe location while crews work on repairing an eroded bank along Guadalupe River in San Jose. These important repairs will help restore the creek bank and help protect neighboring homes and property from damage.

Valley Water’s Stream and Watershed Protection Program has preserved nearly 3,600 acres of upper watershed land in Santa Clara County. From 2004 to 2015, we acquired seven properties in partnership with various open space agencies throughout the county. We will continue to manage these lands and preserve the various species and natural resources they are home to.
