We are extremely proud of these results from our two latest studies. The impact we have had on patients' lives with #crohnsdisease and #ulcerativecolitis is profound. These studies are a testament to the effectiveness of a well structured value-based care model where all of the incentives are properly aligned to provide the best outcomes and care for patients. Let's further the conversation around specialty value-based care - it can be done and we can show you how! #ddw2024 #gastroenterology #specialtyvbc #vbc #valuebasedcare #utilization #outcomes #inflammatoryboweldisease #ibd
Breaking news! We are excited to share that over the past three years with our partnered #GI practices we have seen significant declines in IBD-related hospitalizations and inpatient admissions. This achievement is a testament to our dedicated efforts and the effectiveness of our value-based arrangement where GI providers are receiving proactive insights into patient symptoms. Our evidence demonstrates that when GI providers partner with SonarMD together we can help achieve the #tripleaim of #healthcare. Our retrospective studies positively impacted a substantial number of patients and includes a longitudinal dataset covering two years of outcomes – a unique and valuable perspective in our field. Join us at the #DDW2024 poster session today to learn more about our impactful results. 📖 Read more: https://lnkd.in/gH8kRNcy #HealthcareInnovation #IBD #ValueBasedCare #PatientOutcomes #HealthcareSavings #ClinicalResearch #chroniccare #complexcare #gastroenterology #vbc #patientcenteredcare

BCEM/FP trained physician innovator, physician legal consultant, peer review SME, independent contractor serving healthcare organizations and attorneys nationwide.
My thought for today is this: hospital systems should stop chasing dollars by opening things like cancer centers that have little effect on overall population health outcomes, and instead should devote their resources to supporting adequate nursing staffing to maintain inpatient/transfer bed availability, supporting physician-led primary care, and doing more to promote evidence-based health and wellness programs. What good is it to have an outpatient cancer center if mortality rates overall are going up as a result of the crappy care received during days-long boarding in the ED?

The results of MHQP's annual statewide Patient Experience Survey, released today on https://lnkd.in/ePsYMTd, show improvements in #primarycare experiences since before the pandemic for adults in all areas except one: ACCESS. “Primary care practices deserve our praise and gratitude. They have risen above enormous obstacles in the past few years to deliver improved patient experiences for patients. This is remarkable,” says MHQP CEO and President Barbra Rabson. “However, access to primary care is getting significantly worse and is contributing to emergency room back-ups and other system imbalances. At the same time, the percentage of total medical expense supporting primary care in Massachusetts is declining. This crisis needs immediate attention.” https://lnkd.in/dg4eDRB8
