Thanks to support from USDA 2501 Program grants, the Taos County Economic Development Corporation has been able to train underserved and veteran farmers, ranchers and foresters in regenerative agriculture practices in classroom and field settings. https://lnkd.in/eEepGhMp 2501 Program grants are designed to help underserved and veteran farmers participate in USDA programs equitably. A partnership between USDA and the 1890 land-grant universities, this program seeks to boost educational and career opportunities for students from rural or underserved communities.
