USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS)’s Post

We recently had the honor of hosting the State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Gilman Program Scholars. The Scholars were in Washington, D.C., for two days to learn about global food security. Part of their time was spent with USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service learning about the agency's leading efforts to help developing countries improve their agricultural systems and build their trade capacity. FAS also administers food assistance programs to ensure long-term global security. 🌎 🥘 🍲 🥪 Learn more about FAS's work supporting global food security at https://lnkd.in/egGcTW9x. Happy to have been able to work with the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program and my Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences colleague, Noel Habashy, to provide this programming on global food security!
