Cannot agree more “If you want to have security, safety in your research. Don’t become a researcher.” Nearly everything is unpredictable. Experience buys you that you can filter down faster and take a shortcut with a higher chance of success. For me research is to overcome challenges, brainstorm to tackle scientific issues and push the boundaries. If something didn’t work. Regroup and try again. Figure out if your experiment technically worked but you just had a wrong hypothesis. This is life at the edge of science 🧬 / knowledge. The upside - it never gets boring. 🧫 🧪 Stay curious and continue pushing the boundaries!
