Annual recognition event: honoring our colleagues! Today we held our annual recognition event, a special occasion where we celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our colleagues from High Five Health Promotion and Westfield Health. This event reminds us of the importance of acknowledging not only successes but also the positive impact a colleague has on their team and the company culture, celebrating both achievements and personal qualities. Our core values play an essential role in this recognition: - We Care: the ones that have shown they genuinely care about others, whether it’s our customers, colleagues, or the community. Their empathy and commitment make a world of difference. - We Are Explorers: this one is for the pioneers, those who aren’t afraid to explore new paths and embrace innovation. Their curiosity and creativity drive us forward continually. - We Own It: this category recognizes those who take responsibility and deliver results. They are reliable, proactive, and their dedication inspires us all to do our best work. - We Are In It Together: here, we honor the team players who foster collaboration. Their ability to connect people and work together makes us stronger and more united. Each winner has demonstrated themselves exceptionally in one of these core values. Thanks to everyone who made this celebration possible and to all our colleagues for their ongoing dedication and hard work!

Grateful for the Best Places to Work recognition for the FOURTH year in a row! Highlighting two of our defined Core Behaviors I feel strongly lead to employees thriving day after day and year after year through the minutes to moments to milestones. 1- BUILD UP - We value leadership that equips others and want all employees to ask themselves daily how they can help increase the capacity of others. 2- UP A NOTCH- How am I setting the bar and improving personally and professionally? We desire to do excellent, bar-setting work because our colleagues, participants in the mission, corporate partners, volunteers, nonprofit and community partners, benefactors and the community are worth it! Do good work and do it with excellence!
For the fourth year in a row, we're grateful to be recognized as one of Denver Business Journal's Best Places to Work! https://buff.ly/49qhz3U

Small Wins, Big Results! In our busy office, I had a big problem keeping our company energy positive as we got more people. It was essential to make sure every worker felt special and listened to. At first, our team was like a small family, all working together because we liked the same things and wanted the same goals. But as we grew more prominent, I worried we might lose how close we were. So, I wanted to make everyone on the team feel powerful. As we became more successful, I started to fear that we might drift apart. But then I decided to make sure everyone on the team felt strong and important. We started by allowing everyone to easily express their ideas, worries, and new thoughts. That helped us talk better and ensured everyone felt like they were part of the team. We also started a program to celebrate when people did good things, no matter how big or small. Saying thank you and cheering each other on helped us feel good and want to do even better. Over time, our office changed. It became more than just a place to work; it became a team where everyone felt important and needed to succeed. We trusted each other more and helped each other out, so we became even closer. Because we worked hard, we didn't just keep our unique company spirit alive; we made it even better. As a People Leader, I still ensure these things are essential to our company, where everyone loves what they do and works together to win. Share your thoughts in the comments!

✅4-Day Week, B-Corp & Tyler Grange! 🎤It was really eye-opening to sit down with Nathan Jenkinson from Tyler Grange | B Corp™, who told me all about why becoming B Lab UK certified was so important for their business and how it’s impacted their productivity. 🏅It’s been just over a year now since the business was B-Corp certified, meaning they have demonstrated high social and environmental performance that’s been verified. The details of this and their final score are fully transparent on the B-Corp website! 📊Nathan mentioned a few examples, including their 4-day week, which has not only improved work-life balance but also: - Overall productivity is maintained at 103% - Absenteeism is down 66% - Job applications are up 80% 💡It’s so important to see businesses talk the talk and walk the walk on how doing good with business across workforce, community and environment can bring better results! 💭Do you check if a business is a B-Corp before applying or working with them? ➡️Check out our chat here >>> https://lnkd.in/eRbrwgmn

Getting on the Best Places To Work list is an achievement in itself, but doing it FIVE TIMES IN A ROW? That takes some serious corporate culture secret sauce to pull off! I'm grateful to say I've been part of the last 2.5 years of this winning streak, and I'm here for more. People ask me: "What's it like working at Boveda?" My answer every time: "It's like working with every favorite coworker you've ever had." Everyone here is not only incredibly talented, but passionate about their work too. And that passion shows in so many different ways: Ownership of the work, filling gaps where needed, cross-functional collaboration, celebrating wins of all sizes, continuous improvement, and servant leadership (the backbone of our culture!) We do all of this while having fun in the process! And if something isn't working well, we address it head on and fix it together. Shout out to all of my fellow Bovedians for being incredible human beings who make work an enjoyable, challenging, and rewarding experience! Here's to many more together.
Employees are our greatest asset, and it shows. We’re honored to announce Boveda Inc. has been recognized by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal for Best Places to Work 2023 for the fifth year running.
