The Child Safe Info Day is the perfect opportunity for everyone to come together and share what they've been doing to keep children safe. It's about learning, it's about community, it's about collaboration. I'll be there to share updates on our resources and find out more about what you're doing to implement the 10 Child Safe Standards*. Come say hi! *The Standards are key recommendations from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. In NSW they've been legislated as part of the Child Safe Scheme, which means organisations that work with children are required to implement them to keep children safe from harm and abuse. 2024 will mark 2 years since the scheme commenced. #letsworktogethertokeepchildrensafe #childsafestandards #childsafescheme
Save the date for the Child Safe Info Day on 23 January at Hyde Park! This is a chance for anyone who works in a child-related role in a child safe organisation to find out more about keeping children and young people safe from harm and abuse. Come along and share what you've learned on your child safe journey and bring your questions. More info 👇 https://lnkd.in/gksTa85d
