Today we announced positive Phase 1 interim data from the first-in-human study of our lead program, APG777. Initial data show APG777 was well tolerated in healthy volunteers and initial PK data support potential best-in-class dosing of every 3 or 6 months. Based on these findings, we plan to accelerate our timelines again and initiate a Phase 2 clinical trial of APG777 in moderate-to-severe #atopicdermatitis in the first half of this year. Thanks, Syed Ahnaf Morshed, Ph.D. and Catalina Echeverri for the chance to participate in the #TSMO showcase at #ITEAM2024 to discuss how TSMO and #SafeSystem overlap. TSMO is so much more than ITS; it is a framework for getting the most out of our existing system. As someone who studied operations research as an undergrad, the concept of optimization to a goal and looking for win-wins has always been exciting to me. As we paradigm shift to reframe our transportation system goal from mobility to accessibility and prioritize kinetic energy risk reduction, we have a lot to learn from TSMO. And TSMO experts can become additional Safe System leaders when we institutionalize the shift with #VisionZero2.0. One example of this was highlighted in our recent Fehr & Peers blog post on safety and evacuation - looking for win-wins through TSMO: https://lnkd.in/gZg4DbTW
Do not miss out on the TSMO Council Showcase and Meeting at the ITE Annual Meeting 2024 at Philadelphia! Join us for an action-packed agenda. See you there! #ITEAM2024 #Philly Catalina Echeverri Venkat Nallamothu, P.E. Joe Gregory Kamar Amine Alican Karaer Pam Goodell Adam Hopps Meghan Mitman, AICP, RSP2I Ian Barnes, P.E. Professor; Chief of Critical Care Medicine; Director ECMO Program; Executive Director Critical Care Organization
The rising application of ECMO has emphasized the need for consistent and standardized terminology, especially concerning peripheral percutaneous cannulation of the pulmonary artery (PPC-PA). The ELSO Nomenclature Task Force produced the ELSO Maastricht Treaty for ECLS Nomenclature to address this challenge. However, adherence to nomenclature recommendations has been poor in publications describing PPC-PA. We aim to describe common nomenclature errors and provide a user-guide for abbreviations that can be used by authors, reviewers, and journal staff to ensure properadherence to standardized nomenclature in publications describing PPC-PA.
