Another great video on #AI from Vox. I do think they are missing one key element with this video though, and that is the students current working environment. Students today have more pressure, more work, and more stress then ever before. This comes from the increasing need to get into a good #college with smaller and smaller acceptance rates, in hopes of finding a good #career in an #economy with seemingly fewer opportunities. This comes from increasing pressure to stand and have academic excellence to obtain and maintain academic scholarships to be able to afford increasingly expensive tuition rates. This comes students today just having more technological challenges then ever before, from attention deficit issues stemming from social media consumption, peer pressure from increasingly unattainable societal norms, to the sheer mountain of content they need to consume in the modern class room. I feel like we cannot find a solution to the AI in the classroom problem, without looking at the societal issues that are fracturing alongside it. https://lnkd.in/dq-gSBjE
