Barbie's marketing team has truly killed it across the world! But what particularly caught my eye are these BTS videos - wherein we got a glimpse of Barbie's world, and also how the team worked to bring this imaginary fantasy to life. Just as BTS content in movies evokes emotions by showcasing the passion and dedication of the cast and crew, BTS storytelling by brands can also have a profound impact on their audience. When customers witness the faces and stories behind a brand, they connect with its values and purpose on a deeper level. When I created content for my vegan cheese company, Cowvathi, the BTS of how I was making the cheese garnered far more interest than even full blown professional photoshoots of the final products. 😎 BTS storytelling goes beyond showcasing a product or service; it humanizes the brand. Whether it's a startup or a well-established company, it allows brands to share their journey, their challenges, and their victories, or even their failures. When customers see the real people behind the scenes and the hard work they put in, it possibly creates an emotional connect.
