One (of the many) ways ⬇️ Share your stories. Use social media, blogs, conferences, and other platforms to share your experiences, challenges, and successes as an early childhood professional. Personal stories humanize the importance of your work and can inspire others to support and join the cause. Sharing your experiences and insights helps raise awareness about the critical role of early childhood educators and advocates for the resources and support needed to ensure the success of the profession. In our most recent blog post, written by DCAEYC's Berna Artis, we share dozens of other ways early childhood educators can have their voices heard! There's nothing like a good story - engaging, compelling, awe inspiring. We, at EPIT, believe storytelling brings to life the mahi our partners undertake so it's always good to see the release of Annual Reports from those we support. Check out the latest report from Te Kete Hono and see how their programmes are helping improve educational outcomes for our young learners, while also supporting their teachers with evidence-based data. #teaching #learning #studentengagement #feedback #realtimefeedback #engagement #storytelling
We are delighted to share our 2023 Annual Report with you. It has been a challenging year for the school community but we have been privileged to work alongside committed educators and support their amazing work. We hope you enjoy reading some of these stories.

Today the 30th of September marks the Truth and Reconciliation Day. It is about more than wearing an orange shirt—it’s a time to honor residential school survivors, remember the children who never returned, and take meaningful steps toward reconciliation. To observe this day meaningfully, individuals and organizations should: Learn: Understand the history and impact of residential schools. Support: Contribute to Indigenous-led projects and businesses. Engage: Create spaces for honest dialogue and ongoing cultural training. Act: Implement policies that promote inclusivity and long-term change. Reflect: Attend community events and use this day as a catalyst for sustained action. True reconciliation requires ongoing commitment and concrete actions beyond a single day of recognition. Let’s make September 30th more than a symbolic observance—let’s use it as a catalyst for meaningful, lasting change that starts with education, grows through sustained action, and endures through a genuine commitment to reconciliation. #wearehingeneering
