Why it’s important to inspire the next generation. Today, is something I’m very passionate about. Empowering the next generation of leaders. This isn't just about passing on wisdom, it's about actively shaping an environment where young leaders can thrive, innovate, and lead with courage. We owe it to them to provide the mentorship, support, and encouragement they need to navigate future challenges. My focus is on how we can best pave their way, ensuring they're ready to make a meaningful impact. Let's commit to fostering their growth and valuing their fresh perspectives. #EmpoweringYouth #Leadership #Mentorship
We are delighted to welcome the inspiring Paul Sesay to Future Leaders tonight! It is rare to find a person who has dedicated so much of their life to championing others. But this is exactly what Paul does, and has done for over 20 years. Whether it's through celebrating role models at the The National Diversity Awards, celebrating inclusive employers through The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers or creating networking and employment opportunities through Inclusive Companies and Precedent Group, Paul does it all! Important initiatives like this create access and opportunity, and these two things aren't often equally distributed, as our young people from underrepresented backgrounds know all too well. But #changemakers like Paul are helping move the dial and create opportunity for all. Exactly like we empower our young people to do! So we can't think of a better #rolemodel for our 3000 Future Leaders! It's going to be an amazing session!

Very proud that Enterprise Ireland have received inclusio’s Excellence in DEI Award™, for our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and demonstrating outstanding leadership in building inclusive cultures. This award, along with our Highly Commended CIPD Award for Embedding a Culture of Workplace wellbeing, illustrates the huge strides made in our cultural transformation under our THRIVE People Strategy- a strategy co-created by our people, across our 50 offices globally. We started with our overseas colleagues, to purposely cultivate inclusion and this has been replicated in our implementation with over 40% of our engagement group from our overseas locations - bringing a uniquely diverse approach to our work. Cultural change is hard, as unfortunately there aren’t one or two things you need to do, instead it’s a combination of all the actions you take each day & the behaviours you tolerate, encourage and reward. I am personally really proud of how far the organisation has come in the almost 2.5 years since I joined. This change has been achieved through the engagement of our people throughout our offices globally, an amazing group of colleagues who work tirelessly on behalf of our clients, and the Irish state, every day, whether client facing or enabling the work through internal delivery. I am really proud to work alongside them each day, celebrating their work which enables our clients' success, resulting in the creation of quality jobs in Ireland, which benefits all the people of Ireland. This award builds on the work of the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion group, including Olivia Jackman, Lydia Rogers, Ellen N., Sean Davis, Garrett Murray, Jonathan McMillan, Amanda Ward, as well as former colleagues including Deirbhrin Hanratty, Jean O' Sullivan, Stephen Creaner, as well as our many champions of this throughout the organisation. Thanks to Keith Hussey (he/him) for driving this work through his pivotal role as our E, D& I manager, as well as Olivia Jackman, Adrian Breen & all the People & Culture division. Thanks to Leo Clancy for believing in the importance of this enough to create the E,D&I role, as well as a huge shout out to our Senior Leadership team for their role in creating an inclusive environment each day! Please tag colleagues across the organisation who champion our culture and live our values as I always run out of room.........! Thanks Sandra Healy, Laura Stafford, Aaron & all the team at Inclusio for their partnership in enabling us to take an evidence based approach - we look forward to tracking our progress and continuing to learn from your insights!
