In Finland, Midsummer, known as Juhannus, will be celebrated tomorrow and Saturday. Just like in our products, birch also plays a significant role in the festivities.💚 Birch trees are popular Midsummer decorations due to their beauty, versatility, and pleasant fragrance, and they are at their best during the bright midsummer celebration. Many Finns decorate their homes with birch trees or branches for Juhannus. Additionally, birch twigs are commonly used to make sauna whisks, known as vihdat or vastat, which are widely used during Midsummer. The tradition of using birch trees during Midsummer in Finland dates back centuries.🌳
